I recently visited Lake Eden in North Lakes on my own, and it was an absolutely beautiful experience, especially at sunrise. The peacefulness of the early morning, with the sun gently rising over the lake, was truly mesmerizing. The colors reflecting off the water created a serene and calming atmosphere—perfect for some quiet reflection or just enjoying nature at its finest. The walking paths around the lake are well-maintained, making it easy to take a leisurely stroll. If you're looking for a peaceful spot to start your day, Lake Eden at sunrise is definitely worth it!
Lovely lake with lots of wildlife. A great walking track, parks and cafe on the boardwalk. Take a visit to see the turtles and as the weather gets warmer you may see some water dragons out sun bathing. Great space for a family picnic
A peaceful place to relax and enjoy some fresh air. The surrounding walking paths are well-maintained, making it an ideal spot for a light walk or jog. There's plenty of shade, and it’s a good place to sit with a coffee or snack and enjoy nature. You might spot some birds, including ducks, which adds to the charm. However, if you're looking for activities beyond that, the options are limited. Overall, it’s a decent place for a short visit but not something I’d spend too much time on if you’re expecting more than just a scenic walk.
Gorgeous place for a leisurely ramble, or a pavement pounding run. Playground for children. Plenty of spots to sit & reflect, then the wonderful waterfront cafe at the hotel for a coffee or a meal
Love this place is so beautiful, take the kids, take your dog and take a picnic, there are shops nearby for coffee and cake, breakfast, brunch and lunch. Most people walking dogs are happy to chat. Highly recommended. The boardwalk is fabulous and very dog friendly.
