Very pleasant walk, with plenty of benches and places to sit. Well maintained grass areas and nearby shops and restaurants. Half the walk around the lake is relatively well shaded but half is not, so I'd encourage anyone to bring a hat and use sunscreennnMany small and medium sized lizards around the area. The lake has some black swans. I throughly enjoyed my time, would recommend going towards the evening.
Great for walking laps about 1.8km/lap, relatively flat but still with a few little ups and downs, lots of trees, wildlife and bird song make for a nice vibe. Three different playgrounds for the kids, only real downside is there's only one lot of toilets near the Cafe, would be great if there was a second block on the other side.

Nice lake with the usual wildlife like a couple of pelicans, swans, water birds, lizards, eels & tortoises. Three playground, rest areas & BBQ, aswell as a eatery venue.
Beautiful manmade lake in the heart of North Lakes. Pales in comparison when compared to the size of the natural lakes in the same region, but a very family oriented destination. Has a great walking track, some greats kids play areas and a couple of picnic spots around. The boulevard cafe is nearby too, but the cafe isn't too great.nThe wild life there includes ducks, swans and some turtles amongst other wildlife.
