Story

At Lake District Adventures we are a small family run business in the Waikato of NZ. We offer Bike, Kayak and SUP hire. Glow Worm Kayak Tours and Mountain Bike Tours. We also provide regular Shuttle services on the Waikato River Trail and surrounding areas.
We are committed to delivering superior customer service in every instance. To us our customers are our number one priority and we aim to pay meticulous attention to each and every ones needs and wants. We are privileged and passionate to be able to share our amazing local area and offer the highest levels of professionalism and experience. Our services are available for everyone of varying ages and fitness levels to try and we pride ourselves on offering value for money.

Amazing experience, beautiful location and fantastic group of people at Lake District Adventures. Mike, Steve, Ann and Fraser made you feel so welcome. The kayaking in itself was a great adventure, stopping for classic kiwi nibbles and drinks, adding the stunning location, history, information and then the glow worm experience made for an incredible evening to be remembered for a very long time to come and highly recommend to everyone.

Awesome visit. Stunning to see the glowworms. The team were very knowledgeable and friendly. Helpful to those having issues.

Really awesome experience. Our tour guide shared interesting information about the history under the lake, and the glow worms and everything about the lake was just beautiful at night.

The tour guides were incredibly patient. I was amazed! I highly recommend them based on the care they gave to those who were kayaking for the first time. P.S. These guys have the cheesiest cheese jokes!
