Coming down from Agnes Water to Brisbane, the best spot to stop to have a stretch. Amazing park! Well kept park. Neat and tidy. Beautiful park! Swans, ducks, birds, they are just gorgeous! Highly recommended!
A beautiful place for the whole family, to feeding the ducks and turtles. Having a BBQ. The main park is great and even carters for kids with special needs. They also have a big board with sign language which makes it helpful. Very well maintained
Good place to stop. Small park for little kids and a separate park for older kids. Footpaths to ride bikes. Restrooms were pretty clean but no soap.
It's Gympie market here close to the lake Alford. It's so beautiful and cheaper to buy anythings here come and check it out have fresh to cook food. Clothings and many more highly recommended to everyone 10/10 worth to visit with gold museums next-door.
Beautiful spot in Gympie, kids park, B.B.Q's, clean toilets, nice place for a rest from driving, some lovely spots to lay a blanket down, have a picnic, lunchtime nap or just lay and watch the sky above. Very serene, the variety of birdlife and the fountains add to the wonderment. Five Stars.
Nice park full of ducks . Picnic and BBQ area. Very convenient for picnic. Would be better without Ibis smell
Nothing overtly spectacular, but still a really nice parkland with greenery and a big pond, some birdlife, and lots of space in general. One of the better rest stops - lots of tables, a clean toilet block, and dog friendly with dog bags readily available.
I love this rest stop . It's such a lovely relaxing spot where there's room to park your vans and take a rest along your journey . There is a fence with wire strung between posts so as your furbaby can be tied but still move around and stretch their legs while you sit and enjoy a cuppa or a meal/snack. I have stopped here quite a lot over the years . The rest rooms are clean and in good condition too .
We had lovely picnic time here and there are many birds and black swans and migratory birds and turtles, they are very free here so wonderful to see that I had fun here.
Lovely little park with plentiful bildlife to watch. Although feeding the birds, while discouraged by the council, seems to be the thing to do here.. Anyway, loved the black swans, what beautiful animals!!
