Laffa Bar Charcoal Grill is a family owned and operated restaurant serving quality meals made from the finest kosher produce. We believe that a tasty hearty meal starts with the finest ingredients, is cooked with passion and is delivered to you with a smile.
Over ten years ago we arrived in Melbourne and fell in love with the food culture being Big Foodies ourselves. We couldn’t believe that the kosher food options were so limited, this was very disappointing and our passion took over our emotions and this is how Laffa Bar was founded. Who doesn’t enjoy a charcoal barbecue accompanied by fresh delicious salads and of course our signature Laffa Bread. We bake our Laffa bread in an authentic taboon.
Laffa Bar was originally opened as a take-away dining experience in 2008. Since November 2013, we expanded and opened our Charcoal Grill restaurant, taking Kosher dining to the next level. Whether you are celebrating a birthday, out for a family dinner, out with friends, out with your partner or in need of a tasty, healthy take-away meal – we will guarantee the best gegustation that will leave your stomach satisfied and your taste buds wanting more.

Fantastic place for excellent Israeli food. We had mixture of different salads and meats that brought back a lot of memories for us of living in Israel many years ago. The food was very fresh and delicious and very well presented and was all perfect. All the staff were also super friendly and professional, and made us feel very welcome. We will certainly be back again!

This is a fantastic spot, my suggestion if you have time to sit and enjoy the experience is let the Laffa Bar team bring out their selection. If you are looking for a kosher meat/ Shawarma place with delicious homemade salads...this is the place to enjoy delicious kosher Mediterranean food!! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Highly recommended .

I am a big fan of shawarma and especially the Israeli style. If you like, this is the place to get it, but beware, the prices might bite. Take away shawarma is $25 and a plate for $45. Otherwise highly recommended.Food: 5/5

Laffa bar always has fresh meat and salad produce. It will cost more than other places but you get quality here. Staff very friendly and accommodating to requests. Love the lamb laffa with all salads and dips.

Love this place but  feeling VERY ripped off. I usually order a lamb laffa. It's huge and full of meat and salads. I tried the plate version. Miserable amount of meat. And only 2 salads allowed. This includes Hummus. Hummus and a single salad. And it's almost double the laffa price.

6/10 meats are a bit dry, 7/10 for the chicken, all are well presented, 9/10 for the freshly baked bread.

The food was great! We had both a pita and laffa with shawarma and it was very tasty ! Everything was clean, fresh and the service was amazing.

Poor service, miserable meals, rude staff, food looked sad and the sizes of the meals were pathetic! Brought our friends to experience the proper Israeli meal, felt ashamed we did it, definitely not coming back there ever nor us ,neither them. Looks like the owners are very money hungry and don't respect much their clients.poor experience,  it's definitely not how we do it in Israel!!!!

I was so uncomfortable I took my grandchildren but was treated like an inconvenience. The restaurant was booked but I was told it would be ok for us to eat in. I ordered part way through the meal the children needed the toilet. On our return the food was cleared away my phone keys and epipen had been removed from the table an indication we were returning. No apology was given. Very bad behaviour. I would rather have been turned away and returned at another time for a pleasant experience.
