Very nice Mexican restaurant. Great food and beautiful decor. The house cocktail was delicious as was our dishes. The service was good despite arriving at a very busy time. We will definitely be making the trip to visit again. I wish there was a similar restaurant in Whangarei....
Nice selection of Mexican food. Friendly service. Outdoor seating is covered by awning so can be used if raining. Would definitely eat there again.
Great place even for kids. Food was fresh and tasty.
Super cute outdoor area. Great food. Lovely staff. Definitely stop by. Top margaritas!
This place is great. We stopped in for lunch and had their nachos. The Group size plate served three of us nicely. We especially asked for them to make it Vegan which they were happy to do, and it was very tasty. It was also very reasonable price wise. Recommended.
Great food, good atmosphere, good service.
Went there to have dinner as we had been there before and food was good last time so we went back but wow this time around could not have been worse. Food was bad, so over cooked that the beef was nearly a tasteless paste inside the enchilada, the chicken one was really bad too. Seasoning was a missed in most of the mains unfortunately. The two stars are for the drinks, the side salads and the music, it's a nice place but the food was not worth it at all, so I don't think we'll go back
Awesome service, awesome live music. The polenta chips and croquettes were really good starters. The enchiladas were very nice but needed more heat both flavour and temperature, a bottle of tobasco on the table would have been a good edition. Would definitely return, a great dining experience.
This place had a great band but it was downhill from there. My wife and i were there with another couple on a Friday night. We sat outside by the fire and that was nice with the music. One drink never came and when we told them it hadn't come we were told they don't make that drink. The waitress never came back so my mate had to go back to the bar. The staff was having trouble making drinks and at that time it was 20 minutes wait. The promo cocktail was a whiskey sour but it was hard to get. They took our food order twice because something happened with the printer. Our friends meal came out, quesadilla and enchilada, and the waitress wasn't sure which was which or what she had. The starters and our food didn't come until we asked several times. The starters were missing elements and the chicken and pork belly tacos weren't Mexican. No spice. No cilantro. It was poorly tossed together. The wait staff apologized an awkward amount of time. We were there for about an hour and a half. It was comically brutal.
Delish and super cool peeps! Dreamy little patio.
