I booked a large group for work lunch celebrations last week. Service as always average & never seems to improve. The plates, cutlery & glasses show its use by date & should be changed but I wouldn't hold my breath! Food is always generous portions & pizza's were great. It still caters for large groups & families with reasonable prices.
Poor table service even though there was only 6 tables occupied with 4 waiting staff. The bar was unattended and was under stocked. The food came out before our drinks did even though it was the first thing we ordered. Pizza was nice and calamari was nice. Why the one star you ask well RAW chicken is the answer. My 4 year old son recieved RAW chicken! This is totally unacceptable. No excuses. Full stop. I'm very disappointed and I will not step into this la porchetta ever again.
Each La Porchetta is slightly different. This one's pretty good with lots of room and friendly staff. I think the food is reasonably priced as well. This particular La Porchetta is great because it's attached to a complete shopping mall. I do a quick supermarket shop while I'll waiting for the food.
Purchased meal deal tonight and WOW was our reaction. Best pizza’s , tasty, full of flavour, great fillings, warm pizzas home delivered. you have made delicious pizzas and gave good customer service. We will definitely be back.
we always have a lovely time. my favourite is the porterhouse with pepper sauce with a side of veggies always cooked to perfection friendly staff remembers our usual spot to eat and is always happy to see us, pasta is always cooked just right and never lets us down. We will continue to visit this classic restaurant.
Had the Vegan Cannelloni, it was horrible. Firstly it took forever to come out, it was cold, and definitely microwaved... The pasta was hard on the edges, had no flavour and the sauce tasted like it came straight from a $1 jar at coles. Pretty poor for over a $20 meal. Didn't bother complaining because of the reception my friend got when she complained about the hair in her risotto! Apparently mushrooms grow hair... Thank God they were able to produce the "evidence" that mushrooms grow hair by showing us a hair stuck to a receipt with a hand written messaging saying "mushroom hair proof". Don't come here, it's horrible.
La Porchetta is not as good as before. I was thinking they might have changed the head chef as the quality of the food has changed drastically and the servings are lesser than before. Prices remain the same but I don't think it's worth anymore. Place needs a good renovation. It doesn't look clean.
Terrible experience. Was in there tonight. Got seated right away but then waited 25mins just to take our orders. No one came over to serve us, we kept looking around and trying to get waitors attention but all of them were pretty much standing around chatting to each other. The restaurant wasn’t full there were probably 3 tables with people, so we couldn’t understand why we had to wait so long for our orders to be taken. After waiting so long for our orders just to be taken, our food finally came out and my fish tasted like it had been thrown into a micorwave and it was a weird colour. I go to this place a lot but this time, wasn’t too great guys. Just need to work on customer serve a bit more and have a bit more passion for the food when your cooking it.
Order was wrong to start with for one out of two dishes so had to wait. No flavour or taste to either pizza or parmigiana. Presentation was poor. Took staff over 20 minutes to clean a table which had been vacated. Don't bother.
Awful experience. Service was terrible and very slow and there were dirty dishes stacked up on the bench. We weren’t offered water on arrival and then we had to wait over 30 mins for 2 teas and 2 desserts which we were told one dessert wasn’t available and then the one that did arrive was cheesecake stuffed into a glass instead of Panna Cotta!!! When we complained the manager apologised and said that they were understaffed but that doesn’t excuse being lied to and given the wrong dessert deliberately. I left $5 for a $3.40 tea and left...Will never go there again!
