Was there with friends for a birthday party. Unfortunately the food was below standards and out of a party of 9 only 2 of us finished our meals. My main I ordered was a pizza and it was extremely oily unfortunately. The pizza itself would have been great had it not had as much oil coming from it. Previous experiences at La Porchetta restaurants have always been positive but this was unfortunately not up to a decent standard.
We love it here. We come every couple of weeks with our kids. Today was just husband and I. We got the chicken scallopini and garlic prawns. Always satisfied and we always order different when we come. The whole menu is great and they have great prices to.
Lady at the front was very grumpy, we were seated and our order was taken but the waitress was very unenthusiastic. Our food took 35 minutes to come, when tables around us who arrived after us had their already, we were even offered dessert before our meals because we had been sitting with an empty table for so long. Even after apparently taking 30 minutes my chips could have used some more cook time or even a dash of salt, bland and the eggplant Parm looked dreadful All the staff seemed like they hated their job except for a team member, i believe his name was Jake, he wasn’t our server but i wish he was, super upbeat and friendly loved making small talk with us and surrounding tables before i assume the manager yelled his name several times across a table to get him to go to his section. It would have been more professional to walk over and kindly ask instead of embarrassing him in front of guests…
We had stopped coming to this restaurant, decided to give them another go, wow! The staff were amazing! The food was awesome! We had our two young children who can be demanding, yet the staff were not bothered at all, even down to running out to the car as they noticed we had left our sons drink bottle. The lady that waited on us was honestly amazing!
We went for dinner on a Saturday night which was busy but they accommodated for everyone that walked in. The food was lovely. We spent just over $60 for 2 large pizzas a pasta and a dessert to share. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much to ask and they had a chat with you. We will definitely be back again soon.
Was a great lunch experience. Was served by a new gentleman who I haven't seen there before, I had early reservations as he didn't write anything down when we ordered. There were 6 of us and we ordered $300 worth of food but I was quite surprised as nothing was missed. Good food, great service. Very happy customer.Food: 4/5
Came for lunch on a public holiday. Cameron served us with a smile and awesome attitude. Got a pizza to share and some cheesy garlic bread and it was fantastic. Hot food, came out very quick and was very tasty. In short, Cam was awesome and we left with happy full bellies.
Great service and staff, food was served quickly, great portions and pricing, great menu and options especially on the kids menu. Couldn’t fault the place if I tried. Perfect night all round, definitely will be going back again. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu was perfect with a bunch of options for them to pick from and priced very reasonable for what you get. Parking: Easy location for parking and plenty of spots.
quality of food is really great, it has become one of our family favourites. only need to work on the atmosphere and the service. nothing wrong, but need more care factor in service team. Good luck guys
Food was ok , had preordered online.. for an early pick up of 5pm. Went to pick up at the selected time and parts of the order had been forgotten and had to wait for a pizza to be cooked which resulted in the food that was ready cooling down... staff didn't seem to apologetic either.. told me to take a seat and wait... then proceeded to eat a peice of cake close to the front counter???.... pasta and risotto were tasty and my 2 year old loved the risotto at least we didn't have to wait for his to cool down as it was already room temperature..
