Food was good. But for some reason place was completely empty apart from my party of 3. And on Saturday! Support this place it's good

Experienced worst hospitality ever in a fine dine restaurant 
The food was ok 
Limited variety of drinks is what they offer
Only one wait staff and the girl always looks sleepy n drunk n doesn't seem to be professional enuf
Pretty old infrastructure and limited menu but could be ignored if the service would have been well.
Guys just give a warm welcome with good hospitality service 
Would say no to future dinner here

Used to frequent here 3 years ago. They had the best pizzas around. Moved back into the area recently and was disappointed to find their pizza had gone to the dogs. The base, which used to be exceptional, tasted like a frozen base. Toppings have gone downhill in terms of quality but increased in quantity. Neither is good. Avoid their pizzas. They do good Ice Cream though.

Wow  - what can I say... Whilst visiting Melbourne recently on business, I was invited to a private function, which happened to be held in the venue room of La Piazza Allegra. This place has all the ingredients that make an occasion special! Excellent Food - Fantastic Atmosphere - Friendly People - Great Entertainment! I have never had so much fun at private function. If you are considering booking La Piazza Allegra for your next event and function... Make Your Decision NOW and BOOK La Piazza Allegra! You and your guests will have an amazing dining experience and you will come away wanting to go back again and again. I can't wait to return back to Melbourne, so I can eat out again at La Piazza Allegra. This place sets the standard for value and customer service in their industry!

Had dinner at La Piazza Allegra after a long day, and it was the perfect way to put us all in good spirits! The lovely owner Fred greeted us so warmly and with a passion for food and people that put us at ease instantly. He knew the food well and was able to really help us make EXCELLENT food choices (seriously to die for!!), pick some great wines to go with them, and even made us laugh a few times. I'll definitely be back, and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who believes dining should be an enjoyable experience - the food, the wine, the service, the people, the place - it was all top-notch here.
