Absolutely fantastic and authentic pizza. After having lived in Italy for 10 years, I can confidently say that this is one of the best pizzas I've had outside the country. Dough is super light, toppings are delicious, and the pizza overall is fantastic. The owner and pizza chef are both Italian, truly a great shop they've set up with a lovely courtyard where we could bring our dog. Will absolutely be back again
The pizza is simply 5 star - all the way from the base to the ingredients and how they come together. I don’t remember having anything like this for a very long time.nnSpecifically recommend thenTARTUFINA PIZZA:nMozzarella, mushrooms,olives, garlic and truffle oil.nnMoving on from the pizza, which set a high bar indeed, the Eggplant parmigiana easily superseded the pizza in delivering an explosion of flavours. 6 star without any reservations.nA silky layer of eggplant, a sweet and savory thick tomato sauce, and enough melty cheese to get that quintessential cheese pull but not too much that it weighs the whole thing down. It was decadent but not greasy, saucy but not soggy.nnSpecifically recommend thenPARMIGIANA DI MELANZANE:nSliced eggplant filling, layered with fresh fiordilatte cheese, napoletana tomato sauce, basil, parmesan cheese then baked.nnThe lasagna couldn’t compete with the Pizza and Parmigiana but was perfectly satisfactory.nnThe Tiramisu was raved about all on the table as was the Cannoli but the Cannoli filling was a bit too sweet.nnRecommendation:nTARTUFINA PIZZAnMARGARITA PIZZAnPARMIGIANA DI MELANZANE:nTIRAMISU
The most authentic Italian pizzeria I have been to since our Italian holiday last year, which is huge as we are both big foodies.nThe pizzas were incredible, Nicole was such a lovely host, and the pizzas were made to absolute perfection nTasted like we were back in Naples!
Pizza's are pretty good, but the presentations are a bit odd; they throw a whole heap of leafy greens right in the centre of the pizza.nnGot the La Fiamma pizza as it's their silver award winning pizza. Tasted good but I couldn't get past how dry/lean the sausage was on it.nnService from the staff was great but the pizza's took a really long time to come out.
Dined here with colleagues for dinner; I found the staff accommodating, the restaurant had a real Italian pizza/pasta feel to it and the food was served at a great temperature and was delicious.
