La Dolce

We ordered a beef lasagna, their Monthly special Pizza and the beetroot salad. Delicious food, full of flavour and authentic Italian food! Also, great customer service. A place not to be missed if you are planning to visit Waiheke. This little gem is one of the Local’s best choice.

I recently had a pasta & a gelato from La Dolce Vita and I can quite honestly say that it was one of the best I've had anywhere in the world. With relaxed tunes going in the background and the market happening just across the road, the atmosphere, staff & food are all class and the price is very reasonable. Whether your looking for a coffee and a ice cream or something to satisfy the tastebuds I'd recommend!

We loved eating at La Dolce Vita! Thank you so much for being happy to make vegan friendly food. The pizza with eggplant and vegan cheese and the pasta with olives were super delicious! The lemon gelato was also particularly refreshing. We also got the pasta marinara, carrot salad and mango, vegan chocolate and passionfruit gelato, which were yummy.

Easily one of the best Italian places I’ve been too and I’m an avid Italian food fan so this is saying something. Service was amazing and Lauren was lovely in chatting with us about where I can find the delicious coffee beans they use. Would 10/10 recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area!

I arrived at the restaurant alone, there were no customers at all. I place my order and 5 minutes later 3 groups of people walk in. They got served cutlery and received their food before me. They even apologised to them for the late service and yet they ignored me. Had I not stood up to ask for my food, I doubt they would have served me. I was so aggravated that I ask them to make it a takeaway instead and all they said was sorry. I have been there multiple times for their ice cream, never got any bad service, but I am appalled at how they would treat a paying customer like this. Perhaps it’s because I was the only person of colour present.

Fabulous authentic pizza. The people that work there are Italian and know how to do pizza the way it should be. The gelato is also authentic and is made on site. You’d have to go to Italy to find pizza this good.

Friendly Owner & staff. They offer wonderful Pizzas, Pasta & salads. Authentic Italian flavors including Fantastic Gelato. Very Yummy!Food: 5/5

We stopped over to get Gelato on our bike ride back to the ferry terminal. The four of us had white chocolate, chocolate and hazelnut icecreams and all 3 of them were delicious. We were told the icecreams were made in the store and they were making the sold out ones while we were there We got hungry and got couple of small pizzas aswell to share and they were so yumm!! Service was amazing , very friendly staff and the pricing is decent too. Highly recommend La Dolce Vita :-
