I recently visited Cafe Le Petite Chateau in The Block Arcade in Melbourne and was blown away by the cozy and classic ambience. The cafe has a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home. One of the standout items on the menu for me was the hot chocolate with whipped cream. It was rich and creamy, and the perfect indulgence on a cold day. The almond latte and chai latte were also delicious, with the perfect balance of flavors. But the real star of the show was the tiramisu crepe. It was absolutely scrumptious, with layers of creamy filling and a hint of coffee flavor. I couldn't resist taking a second helping, and I left the cafe feeling completely satisfied. Overall, I highly recommend Cafe Le Petite Chateau for anyone in the Melbourne area looking for a cozy and classic cafe experience. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is unbeatable.
This cafe is quite lovely and is located in the Block Arcade. The waitress was very friendly and approached while I was perusing the menu. I ordered an iced coffee and an Almond Crepe. If you like Almonds, they definitely don't skimp on it. The iced coffee came with both cream and ice cream, it was just right. It has both indoor and outdoor seating however the toilets are not in the cafe but outside in the Arcade and you'll need to enter a code. Otherwise, a very pleasant place to have a meal and coffee.
We had a lovely lunch here today. The staff were lovely and friendly and the decor and atmosphere was very pretty and charming. Salmon benedict was absolutely beautiful..already cut in half in the pic. Was a very good size. Hot chocolate was very nice but not hot enough. Overall an unexpected surprise and would definitely eat here again
We were captivated by the decor and decided to try out their crepes for tea. We were surprised that it was table service, but service was not that quick as they were busy. The crepes were ok, and I would prefer if they were a bit more crispy. But I would still come back again as it’s just such a lovely experience overall. Thank you.
If you can’t travel to Paris, bring Paris to you. French corner in the Of Melbourne. Beautiful cafe with a great team of stuff made me feel like I’m in Paris. Food is great, best cappuccino in town. Highly recommend for a stopover once in the city.
Super cute little place in the block arcade. The crepes were great, the coffee was average but that’s not really why I would come here anyway. The staff is also very lovely, would definitely recommend if you love crepes.
I have been spoilt now by the delicious Lemon Butter Crêpes at Leo's Spaghetti Bar in St Kilda, and they are the standard by which I will now judge all others. The Ocean, from the Savoury Crêpes menu, includes smoked salmon, avocado and cream cheese, with a wedge of lemon. I'm told the crêpe mix is made from buckwheat and this, unfortunately, resulted in a very dry crêpe. All the moisture fillings and the lemon made no difference. So disappointing. I risked the Lemon and Sugar crêpe to see if it was a softer, more juicy crêpe, but, not really. However, the Iced Chocolate drink was delicious and in a generous sized serve. Service is friendly and quick, and the ambience is cosy. Ten ticks for that. I will go back and try something else from the menu to give them a second chance. Wheelchair accessibility: Only for the outside dining area.
Came here for breakfast before heading home. Staff seemed okay. Was seated promptly and meal came out on a good time. This cafe mostly serves crepes and coffee. I ordered the Chicken Caesar crepe Very Delicious. I will defiantly return one day and order a sweet crepe.
Could be the very best crepes I have eaten in Melbourne. Our food was exceptional. Beautiful place, great atmosphere The waiter he had two earrings and curlish hair was super super attentive and very friendly. Highly recommend !
Great experience with savoury and sweet crepes. We sat outside with our pup and the staff was friendly enough to bring out a bucket for him to drink water. We ordered the cidre and was it worth it. We got the small bottle and it was enough for two. Would recommend trying their savoury crepes because it was the highlight of my meal there.
