We hopped in after cockle hunting down the beach. They had an interesting lineup on their menu and we ordered the calamari dish, deep-fried ocean jacket fish and bowl of chips. We loved the taste of Vietnamese salad with fresh mint which came with the fish plate and the flavor of the chips. This place has a nice ocean view and we enjoyed the company of magpies near our outside seatThe serving size was a bit small, however.
Amazing place with spectacular views out to the Ocean. Service was fantastic and attentive . The meals were incredible and fresh with the local pipi dishes being a standout. Couldn't get enough of the bread dipping into the lovely sauce.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a very helpful waiter, thanks for your great service, Zac and our drinks came out quickly. Despite the venue being very busy, food came out quickly. The food was unbelievably delicious and the views were amazing. It was a lovely outing. We chose to sit outside and it was a bit windy but we didn't mind, it was gorgeous!
We went here for our anniversary the other weekend and it was such a lovely experience! Great vegan options for me too and seafood for my partner. The place was unpretentious but in a great location overlooking the beach. The night we went was very busy and the staff were fantastic the whole time. Food and drinks came out very fast definitely get the chips cause YUM!.
One of the best places we've been. What else you need with this amazing sea view? Fresh seafood, good coffee and friendly staff? You will have all them all. The oysters and kingfish shashimi are soooooo fresh and delicious. Highly recommend. We will be back.
Excellent! The restaurant is on the edge of the car park overlooking the beach. All our food was amazing, if we had time we would have gone back a second time! The staff were all great too, definitely worth a visit. We went on a weekday lunch and it wasn't busy but if you are planning it might be better to book so you don't have to wait.
One of the best beach site locations on the Fleurieu with the friendliest staff, organic decor, soothing sounds of the waves and mouthwatering seafood delicacies! If you’re a pescatarian connoisseur you absolutely must try Chef’s special selection! Beautiful choice of oysters, pippies, kingfish, prawns, and many more - you are for a treat! Local’s favourite
We had amazing experience ! This is small casual-fine dining restaurant where you will find the freshest and the tastiest flavours. We wanted to 2 chefs Vanessa and Head Chef Brendan lead the way with Chef selection and wine match for us ! I don’t want to spoil with explaining every dish but what I can say is; every dish was a star! My wife normally won’t even touch to chicken liver parfait, but we had extra bread to finish it until last bit ! Specially the sauce of parfait! Beside this amazing feast, the wine selection of this place is incredible ! Every single wine was perfect ! Specially, Albariño The real thing, citrusy and fruity, now is one of my favourite whites and Whisson Lake Pinot was the grand finale! Full of Black Forest fruits flavour with smooth finish. Overall, our experience was 5 star ! The place was cosy and casual where you can relax ! Food was spectacular, gourmet food ! Wine menu is champions league !
This place is a divine spot to experience. The views are outstanding as the windows open to the panorama of kms of beach and surf. It was our first experience of pipis AMAZING and the best experience of kingfish sashimi we've ever had. The room is beachy chic, the service was lovely. It was so good, we went back the morning we were leaving to fuel up on their delicious bacon, egg roll and coffee, watching the surf from the bench out the back facing the dunes. Highly recommend.
My two bigger kids were having fun playing time on the beach and I just stayed at the Cafe with the little one here, quite nice sea food and coffee here.Food: 5/5
