Amazing, amazing amazing. I was super impressed with both the food and the service and the restaurant is so beautiful I want to go live there permanently. If you eat meat, I would definitely recommend the squid and the Korean fried chicken. Incredible stuff - I will be returning at the nearest opportunity.
Absolutely delicious food!! Thank you for the great service, we had a lovely evening here. Highly recommend the spicy tuna tacos and octopus bites. Looking forward to coming back here as the seafood dishes were 10/10

We love going to Kumo, it is one of our fancy dinner destinations in Melbourne. We also love the traditional Japanese dinning room and the set menu is always delicious, fresh, different and an amazing culinary experience that is private and special.
We had the 8-set dinner menu, and the food was divine - it definitely hit all the right spots!! The staff were super attentive. We can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu :

Absolutely incredible authentic yet modern Japanese food. Lovely people, excellent selection of drinks and nice atmosphere. I always try something new here, but also keep going back to their tarako spaghetti.
Absolutely delicious experience! We ordered the takoyaki creamy and fluffy, the whole squid so tender, the edamame fresh, sashimi and the ramen gnocchi! The last two dishes blew me away - the flavour of the gnocchi was so unique, I want to come back for me. And the sashimi was extremely fresh and delicious!
