Being a loyal customer with Curtis & his team for the last 3 years at any stage 5 stars would not have been overstating the quality & service i received...that was until my last visit when my car had a problem with starting then immediately stopping, randomly & after a few try's back to normal. But the issue became to bad to ignore when it broke down & i had it towed to KTC believing that the next day i would pick it up, problem solved...as it always had in the past. I got a call the next day with " it starts, i can't identify the issue unless the issue is happening". " But Curtis there is a problem, it will break down again can't you at least attempt to fix it". " Join RACQ" i was told. Fine if i just want a tow from a break down, but i do have a life, appointments, kids that need to be picked up from school & RACQ do not provide this service & besides, my mechanic is the one i look to to make sure my kids are not left at school wondering where dad is. So yesterday it broke down again, movie booked & paid for so Uber came to my rescue & honestly, Curtis was called some not very nice names under my breath as we watched...& here is the sealer of the story...i sent him a message on his mobile Sunday night, explaining how i felt, that i was disappointed & if he wanted to call me in the morning to book it in to fix it or i would go elsewhere...i must be just one customer, losing my business will not hurt his bottom line & by mid morning my car is at my new mechanics workshop..but one customer who tells all he knows how good KTC is, who believed in someone that for some unknown reason decided that i was not important enough to even look at my car...well anyone who asks me if i know a good mechanic one person can make a difference, i just think that he wouldn't care & that to me is the real issue. If a business owner thinks he is more than his customers he needs a wake up call. 1 star because i couldn't post with less.
