Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club is a really impressive spot. I recently had coffee there with friends, thanks to one of them being a member. The place has such a classic, elegant vibe, and it’s clear why it’s a favorite among tennis fans. The clubhouse feels cozy but upscale, and the staff are super friendly. We sat at the café, which had great coffee, and it was just a nice, relaxing atmosphere to chat and hang out. Only members and their guests can go, but if you ever get the chance, it’s definitely worth a visit!
pre-Christmas lunch was made more enjoyable by the pleasant and efficient waiting staff. Seating always comfortable, table setting of high quality, appropriate glassware provided when ordering sparkling wine. Warm, crusty rolls came as we sat down. My battered fish was succulent and tasty. Table of 7, but no problem when individually settling account. Entirely professional experience.
Had lunch at this venue at a private function. The room was excellent looking out on the Tennis Courts. The food and Drinks were well presented and serving Staff were also very good in ensuring your glass was full and the food was delivered with a smile and well done service. This location is really special for that special occasion. I would recommend if you want a small party of friends to enjoy both the location and service.
We had a great day here at the tournament prior to the Australian Open 2024. The atmosphere was fantastic with friendly and supportive players and spectators. The tournament was well organised with clear rules and schedules. I highly recommend this event to anyone who loves tennis and wants to have some fun before the AO.
Great to see The Racquet Club bistro has gone back to French style grill, wasn't such a fan of the Latin grill diversion a couple of years back. Great food and very professional service. Decent variety with specials and a few vegetarian options. Heated bread rolls are excellent.nHighly recommended, just need to befriend a member to gain access.n#melbournefoodcollectiven#melbournefoodreviews
