Not the best during the heat of summer but always a pleasure to get away into nature, great for trail running practice as a variety of trails if you know where to look. Beautiful wildflowers in spring and awesome view
Thus is one big nature bushland in the middle of the suburb .very well pathway and hi diversity flora and fauna .beautiful scenery and beautiful place for walk or interesting native wildflowers.
There are no BBQs or steam trains or drinking fountains. Koondoola regional bushland is bush surrounding a water treatment plant. It is a wonderful nature reserve to go for a walk in. Occassional benches on the tracks to have a sit and take in the tranquility. In spring it is full of many species of wildflowers including orchids. There are birds and sometimes you might be lucky enough to see a kangaroo or a bobtail. Peaceful.
My Chihuahuas absolutely love this place we come every day for around an hour and almost never bump into other dogs and owners however when we do they are very friendly and put their dog on a lead, and I in turn do the same with my two, because they are so tiny I feel safe walking them in this Bushland and they feel safe as well.
Such a large patch of bushland - so awesome we still have these reserves. Unfortunately a fair amount of rubbish & weeds but the wildflowers are spectacular
Lots of wildflowers and birds. Spring orchids. Watch out for the hawk defending its nesting area at Waddington cres end in September October.
Awesome place great trails to walk on in suburban area when cant get to go out hiking
This is what the bush was like in this area before the rest was turned into a suburban um paradise.
Great parklands.Bbq areas,steam trains through native bushland.Sharing with the Kangaroos.
