Lake MacDonald is one of the gems in noosa's crown .best get in quick before the dam wall restoration begins ...the water level is dropped the fish all die and rot ,the endangered turtles are killed, the beautifully aquatic birds leave, and it's turned in a mud pool with blue green algee ...for probably two years .take photos to remember it by if you going to fish don't release them ,the're doomed to horrible death respect them and eat them .
Pleasant outlook, plenty of seating and tables, bbq nearby. Small walk to boat ramp and botanical gardens
Lovely peaceful gardens n atmoshere
Perfect position by the lake for performance art.
