Koobara Kindergarten
Established in 1974, Koobara Kindergarten is a not-for-profit community-controlled organisation based on Brisbane's northside. Our Kindergarten offers a range of services with a specific focus on early childhood education using a culturally-responsive approach. Koobara offers two Indigenous playgroups (Mondays and Wednesdays) and a Community Afternoon Program (fortnightly Tuesdays).
To provide a high quality early childhood education experience for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, aged 3 to 5 years. Here at Koobara, we honour our solid history, and celebrate our bright future through our strong, smart jarjums and their families.
