We've ordered twice from Kong's through uber eats with priority delivery and both times food was pretty good! We're new to the Roxy Park area and have been on the hunt for a good Chinese place, AND i think we found it! The special fried rice is like the old school fried rice husband loved it! Mongolian Beef and Beef and black bean is very tasty, honey chicken and S&S Pork wasn't bad. Noodle Combination wasnt the greatest - the least fave so far its like it was missing a little flavour - but wasnt horrible. Definitely our local go-to Chinese for a good Friday night take away meal. Not fussed on the prices but for some may be a tad expensive. 4 dishes usually is about $100 uber eats prices. Give it a go.
Would give 5 stars however you need more ingredients in your fried rice, it is quite plain. Only has corn, peas and egg in it and very little at that
Pretty nice takeaway. Honey chicken was nice but delivery always ruins honey chicken. Satay was too salty and not peanutty enough. Fried rice was good but no shrimps. Would order again but perhaps in person. Fairly overpriced too
Food was ok, nice at best and not enough sauces, satay sticks were dry with no sauce and definitely not worth the over inflated price tag, definitely the most expensive chinese we have ever eaten, wouldnt return or recommend.
I like their food and appreciate it and take action to correct it if issues come up.

Unfortunately the food wasn’t very nice at all. Our lemon chicken was so dry it was hard to swallow even with the lemon sauce, the sweet and sour pork wasn’t what we are used to, the flavour was funky and the pork was braised or something not battered as we’ve had in the past. The dim sims and spring rolls were ok and so was the beef in black been, but just ok nothing to get over excited about. We normally get Kongs at Greenvale and we will continue getting it from there now. Very disappointed
I've been going to Kongs and ordering Vegetarian fried rice for years. Always worth the price with loads of veggies and cashews. Tonight it was all rice, a few slivers of carrot and cabbage. No broccoli, no zucchini and no cashews. This was $12.50. I don't mind paying when it's loaded with the previously stated stuff but I'm not paying that again for a few slivers of carrot and cabbage that is cheap. Gone way down hill. Won't go there again.
I've been going to Kong's since it opened. I've always been treated respectfully and the food was lovely. The last couple of times the food has been 'meh' and the staff completely disorganised and even rude. They are hopeless on the phone, forgetting people holding on more than one occasion. In fact, on one visit, I even had to remind one woman that she still had someone on hold when it came to my turn in line. I don't know whether they are under new management or have new staff, but they really are hopeless now and it's time to look for a new place, or maybe a good opportunity to just focus on home cooking.
Definitely recommended. We tried the food here for the first time and ordered vegan friendly food. The food was very tasty, good portion and good service. As vegans we had to first call the restaurant and ask for vegan options. Order was the veg chowmein, veg fried rice requested to remove egg and veg black bean. Suggestions would be more vegan options.
