The vegetable tofu don is yummy and packed with flavour. Taking the order is quick despite rush hours. The service is likewise quick. The serving size is not as generous but the price is reasonable. I hope they will provide reusable bowls and cuttleroes for dine in options. I love the high chair dining option. The table and chairs uses dark wood that complements the Japanese aesthetics. I can see someone expertly slicing the salmon while I eat, which improves the dining experience. I'll definitely come back if I happen to visit the area.
Cheap and delicious sushi at only $3.20 per handroll which is good value considering now sushi's between $3.50 and $4 per roll. Go here instead of the Sushi Sushi in Coles at Tooronga as it's far better in terms of value and taste.
Haven't tried everything, but usually the dishes taste great. And it's the only place in the vicinity where you can have a lunch at the weekend if you are not into generic European-type coffee shop food.
Conveniently located opposite Coles in Tooronga. Great for picking up Sushi rolls for a quick snack or an entire meal. Also a wide selection of hot Japanese rice and noodle dishes
I don't normally give bad reviews. The katsu ramen that I ordered was under par. It isn't even ramen and what came out was undercooked egg noodles that was stuck together. It also contained broccoli and snow peas which isn't traditionally in ramen. I can't comment on the sushi but I advise not to get ramen here if you are after ramen. Even as a noodle soup it would not be a good review.
Good range of sushi. Inside seating area was very clean. Tables were a little too high for young children
Doesn’t scrimp on ingredient. Tried their salmon don for $13.50. The portion is generous with generous amount of salmon. Sushi rolls are always filled with generous fillings too.
Sushi okay but Katsu Don way too sweet. I won’t be returning
We are regulars here and the staff remember our orders, happily cut up sushi for the kids and are willing to use containers we bring with us to reduce waste. The sushi and poke bowls are great! Good size, nice salmon with little fat, generous amount of filling.
Such a poor amount of chicken in the fried rice so overpriced
