today at exact 7:01 am, I went to kogarah train station and wanted to use the toilet. I was already inside the cubicle when all of a sudden the staff went inside the toilet and asked me to go outside and wait for 1 minute. There was no notice outside the toilet door that that toilet is being clean.. just find it so rude.
Need more trains to stop at Kogarah. There are a lot of residents, schools and businesses in this area. The peak hour service is simply inadequate.
station is very good. kind staff, big station and a small shopping centre
Not a bad station a lot of shade great on hot and rainy days a bit cold on cold days
When I used to work in Kogarah during 2015 I always admired this station with its art deco look. I don't live in the area as whenever I traveled to Erskinville by train I sometimes drove my car and parked at one of the residential streets in Carlton and walked down. The suburb brings back plenty of memories as my relatives used to live on Guinea St during the 1960s and early 70s before they resided to Riverwood where they are today. I remember Kogarah station before they installed the shops above the platforms. Last time here was 2018.
You will not go there if there is no reason for you to go there, but if you have a reason to go there you will go there. It's a modern station with all the features thou need, like disabled access, lifts, insite staff to help, etc. Overall clean, a tad dated, and slightly dark during a rainy day because it's under a building. There is no cause for concern, if you have read this far i don't know what it was you were expecting to find, it's just a train station.
. Many platforms to go . I forgot where is it in the first place . I have to ask for directions
Alight here for St George Hospital. Station is fully wheelchair accessible. The adjacent carpark is easy to find a spot on weekends but arrive early on a weekday. There's an adjoining shopping centre for drinks and snacks.
Leaks when it rains and too many junkies hanging around outside. And why don’t morning express trains stop here anymore? Why next to Aldi is there an escalator up but not down? On the plus side both the park and ride and Woolies roof parking are good.
