Bought two kgs premium beef mince only to discover when I arrived home that they cover the old mince with fresh one on their display mince was brown? My dog wouldn’t even touch it! Chucked it all in the bin.$40 down the drain.
Was treated horribly when i took a scrappy piece of scotch fillet back. they refused to even take the meat out of the bag and look at it. They Wouldn’t exchange or refund either. Don’t waste your money here i’m never going back
Good prices, good meat. I have been going to this butcher shop for a while and have no complaints. Probably the best in the Kogarah/Rockdale area. Read some of the other reviews and basically most of them complained about the wait, the service or the language skills of the staff. I'd rather wait and get what I need and basically not be bothered about small things like the language skills of the staff. Also, if you don't know what you want before you're served you are basically wasting their time when they could be serving other customers.
The buttcher is clean. Also, the girl with blue hair has the best customer service. I would go again.
I rate them a big fat 0 one is just to much have been going there for many years as a customer the lady act all friendly and nice then they over charge you. First time I picked up on it it was over $10 went back after 10 minutes and brought to there attention got my money back . The second time months on happened again over charged me $8 dollars for chicken wings which I clearly didn't ask for them or got them. Be careful with the ladies that serve you the out to rip you of.
Quality meat with good price, always fresh and good selections except for Sunday I've noticed, less selection. Friendly and efficient service considering they need to move the line along quickly.I've been going there for years since accidentally discovered it after work. I'm a bit shocked when seeing the review score is not as high as it deserves. Curiously went through the reviews and found most of them are about customer service, or the cut they were getting were too fatty get a different cut next time, flank is supposed to have quite a bit of fat!. If you need someone to handchop your chicken or chat about your day, maybe pay some extra and go somewhere else.
Tried this butcher the other day for the first time. I was highly impressed with this store. It was clean and airy and had no offensive smells whatsoever. Their pricing was highly competitive and probably cheaper than some of the local supermarkets around the area. I will definitely be back for all my meat goods in the future.
After shopping at this butcher for afew years I went in to simply exchange one of the meats out of the $300.00 bill which is a usual for us and the main chinese lady there told us we cant exchange it and not only didnt she exchange it but took the second lot of meat back of the same type also and wouldnt return it! Disgusting service for a simple exchange of another meat . A bad meat purchase on their behalf may happen thats life but the rudeness and unwillingness for this company to do the right thing and not lose a vip customer is their loss. Idont know many people that buy hhhh
Worst Meats Kogarah. Gave us 4kg instead of 7kg, which is what we paid for. When we realised and pointed it out they told us off and kicked us out of the shop. Don’t trust these guys with more than a salami stick.
The meat is of good quality most of the time. Staff work fast and hard and are generally polite and will cut the meat for your needs. The big problem is the waiting line - there isn’t one! In peak hour it’s really hard to order. They should put a simple sign “Order here”, I believe this will greatly improve the service experience during peak times.
