Good location on Marine Parade at Kingscliff. I enjoyed the flavours of the fried rice. Portion sizes are not big. I noticed that a lot of the tables had not been wiped down including ours. I asked the waitress to wipe down our table. That’s the only downfall. The staff were friendly and cheerful.

The worst Thai i have ever had. Bland, no flavour and there was no meat in the very small size dishes. Reading the other reviews from years ago it seems like this is a long term problem. The owner drives a very expensive Mercedes, he can do that because he overcharges and doesn't put any ingredients in the dishes. There are so many better Thai restaurants around, skip this one. Its amazing that it is still open given the other local Thai restaurants are so much better.

Went to Kob Kun Ka tonight and had an amazing dinner. Walk in. Lovely stay chicken pieces succulent curry puffs amazing and our mains were a beautiful green curry and dusty pork. Everyone loved their dishes. Will certainly be back.  Oh and a very attentive great waiter served us.

Without doubt the WORST Thai food we have ever had. Portion sizes were so small that there was barely any chicken or beef in the dishes. Curries were so bland and tasteless with just a few ingredients sitting in coconut milk. AVOID.. it is so bad and a rip off..

I ve had great meals here before! , just bought take away - seafood pad thai and fish cakes. the fish cake were delishious but under cooked, i didn t get sick but they weren t cooked thru! the pad thai was really bland in taste! the meal was $36.00 i bought the same meal 2 weeks ago from chang mai thai - 400 metres down the road , it cost $30.00 , fish cakes were larger and delisious, although the dipping sauce  was audinary, but yummy! the pad thai was authentic thai food and twice the sise of Kobkunka s pad thai. i am a local and will be eating at Chang Mai Thai  regards aJeff

We are a family that loves Thai. And I love Kobkunka Thai. Friendly service and great food. Highly recommend for a fulfilling meal. Also strongly endorsed by a local, well known family.

Ordered 2 starters and 2 mains Waited 40 minutes before 1 main arrived 5 minutes later starters arrived with other main While we were waiting 3 orders of takeaway were ordered at the counter and all received there meal’s before us I would suggest that you concentrate on serving your restaurant customers better A couple of tables that came in after us left because they got fed up with waiting It’s a shame really because the food was good once we got it. We loved it here. Nice staff and food. We did takeaway. They said 20 min so we ordered and went across the road for a drink at the surf life saving club. Food ready when we returned. Dim sims great. Spring rolls delicious

For the price you pay $28 it is not worth it.. My experience can be summed up as lumps of rice, coconut milk, the odd bit of chicken and soggy vegetables. Very disappointed :
