Fantastic place from the awesome Pam at the gate, to Carl Jason and Alvaro at the pit who are always polite to customers checking on them and seem to be constantly on the go working their butts off, unlike a couple of the other blokes I see at the pit. The 2 people working in the shop, Donna is such a lovely woman and so helpful, Wayne is a real genuine gentleman. Prices for dumping I find quite reasonable and I don't mind that if my stuff is in good condition it goes back into the shop for resale. They have got to cover wages somehow. Keep up the great work everyone I will be a return customer.
Couldn't be happier with the service here. Always get help with a smile unloading my vehicle each week when I am unloading cardboard. Staff are super helpful polite and treat you with dignity and respect. Absolutely love the lady in the Treasures shop she is a delight super friendly super helpful and will go out of her way to help find what you are looking for. Shop is always tidy definitely wouldn't think it was a tip shop. My Son is always purchasing something from here. Really Couldn't get a better bunch of staff.
Visited recently on a Monday to the Treasure Shop on a day where I was having a very upsetting day. The lady working I think her name is Donna noticed I was not okay and offered me comfort. Now she did not have to do that but if this is the calibre of the staff at a tip shop I would have to say I've found the Treasure at the end of the rainbow. I left feeling so much better thanks to her and her Sunny bright disposition. She is definitely someone that should be a valued staff member.
Re: Tip Shop. I’ve been coming to this shop for 4 years now and have consistently watched the prices get more and more ridiculous. Yesterday marked the last day. Wayne’s a great guy, but charguing online prices for untested, non returnable, no guarantee of working state goods is simply greedy.nNot only that: Some of the stuff clogging up their space is 18 months old… And the bloke tells me there’s heaps of stock ‘out back’.nSo sad because he’s such a great guy, but the store clerk and choking that store to death.
Went to empty a loader trailer, normally costs me $290, which is already daylight robbery. Window man suddenly decides today’s the day to charge $355. Bold move.nnYou can probably guess what happened next… I hit him with a quick Tokyo Drift exit and vanished.nnEnded up at Hallam tip instead, same trailer, $265. Moral of the story: sometimes you’ve just gotta drift your way to a better deal.
