Nice enough library with plenty of variety on their catalogue and gaming consoles for all ages to use provided a booking has been made but it's certainly not the quietest library I have been too.Young children are the worst. I have often seen them running around the library, screaming, yelling and the occasional laughing very loudly, and crying very loudly when they fall over from doing any of the above - however this is no fault of the library. More quiet study areas would be nice.
Thank you for accommodating our kids for letting them borrow plenty of books to read this school holidays..will definitely visit you again soon as the long holidays are over!!
I do love going there, but the noise is outrageous for a library. Kids running around screaming and playing, people talking and having loud discussions. Not a place to work or read if you want some peace at all. More of a social hub than a library.
The library is always clean and smells fresh.nThey update the catalog regularly with new titles.nStaff helps without making you feel rushed.nTheir website is easy to use for managing checkouts.nI like the variety in their nonfiction collection.nIt’s not flashy, but it’s reliable.nA consistently good experience.
This new Knox Library is a vast improvement on the old one. Definitely more spacious and brighter, and it now has private meeting rooms and study pods too.
