This new Knox Library is a vast improvement on the old one. Definitely more spacious and brighter, and it now has private meeting rooms and study pods too.
Good library and good customer service!!! Thanks Catherine!! She is so sweet and soooo kindness!!! I have no idea how to get a library card!!! She helped me!!! And told me which library is near my house!!!! And where can I take the book!!! Anyway recommend!!!!!!
There's no reason why the kids activity area in the very centre can't be contained and noise insulated. It's not a proper library if it's filled with running and screaming children with no separation of proper work area; loud ringing of phones; and people yapping. Book selection is limited as well. Poor use of space. Weekends are especially bad as it's ridiculously noisy. You might as well go read or study in a toddlers playground.
This is more like a child care centre than a library...nIf you forget your earphones you are not doing anything productive. Staff aren't any help with noise control either.
I need to express my gratitude to all the librarians at Knox Library for the exceptional job they've done today. With so many people experiencing power outages at home, we've all gathered here to utilize the library's resources. In my opinion, it's important to show basic courtesy to one another and to be understanding, rather than selfishly reserving spots for friends who haven't arrived, thereby preventing others from using the computers. The library staff are already working diligently, and we shouldn't add to their burden. I particularly want to thank Anthony or Alan I don't know his name for sure, who has gone above and beyond to accommodate everyone's needs and ensure everything runs smoothly. This is no small feat, and their efforts are greatly appreciated!
