STEER CLEAR FROM KNOPPS STORAGE & REMOVALS!!!! Almost 2 years ago Knopps Removals were hired to move my household belongings from Melbourne to Qld. We waited 8 weeks for our belongings to be delivered only to realise upon delivery that more than 3/4 of our belongings were missing and we are now fighting them in court to recieve compensation for the 2 years my children and i have been made to go without. They took our clothes, kitchenware, electronics, car seats, high chair, baby cot and lots more. They turned our lives upside down and didn't care who they hurt in the process. They are still refusing to accept responsibility for their actions. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!

Disappointed with service.I booked and confirmed dates two months prior to moving and again a week before.They sent one truck instead of two forcing us to postpone the cleaning of our house for two days.They damaged a wall when they pulled bedhead off it.My husband had to fix it before new owners moved inThey then said they could not deliver on the date we requested and it wasnt until I rang from my hospital bed in Melbourne that they changed their mind.On delivery my late mothers rocking chair was broken.

I read these positive google reviews just after Easter, before deciding to employ Knopps Removals to backload an item of furniture from Hobart to SE Queensland for me. However, my experience was similar to that of Belinda expressed in her 'Yellow Pages' review I found by Googling Knopps Removals. I found the service to be disappointing, unprofessional, and non communicative over the 6 weeks that I have waited for the item to be collected and delivered. It has still not been collected. This is no doubt due to problems at the Hobart end where household goods have not been able to be unloaded because the client for that job can't find a residence !? My dissatisfaction relates to a number of things. Initially, after giving Knopps the go ahead for the job over the phone and emailing all the details to them I did not ever receive any email confirmation from them that they had the details and were accepting the job. This was the first sign to me of lack of professionalism and did trigger a few warning bells for me that I should have taken more notice of. Because following that, and as Belinda says in her negative review, no communication was initiated by this company through the 6 weeks I have been waiting. The owner did not return calls and only by eventually emailing secretary Vicki was I told each week that the item would be collected 'next week', but of course it never was collected. They were never up front with me about the real situation and the real likelihood that they would not be able to deliver my item for months and months, until I basically worked out what might be happening and dragged the real story out of them. I will now employ a Gold Coast Company, who also quoted, but in a professional manner, 6 weeks ago, and who would have had the item delivered to me well before now.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Knopps Removals. They charged me significantly more than I was quoted and refused to refund me when that was challenged. I would not recommend using them.

My mum moved from Echuca to Melbourne, we were very happy with the service and the two men were very polite and helpful, stress free move 😊👍🏻
