When in Warringah Mall, we often pass through Kmart to browse the merchandise, often nicely designed at more than affordable prices.nBut this time we were more than disappointed by staff and your organisation.nnTo begin with, we cannot easily find where the stuff is located. We were after a couple of USB sticks. We did a couple of rounds but could not find any. The only solution left to us was to ask the staff which is not easy to find.nWe just tried to ask the customer service desk then. But Lynne there directed us to stand in the four people queue returning products, that is waste perhaps 10-15 minutes to find out if you stock the merchandise and where it is located. She could just point and tell us the section and direction in a few words in 10 seconds.nWe asked the question then from a young staff from customer service, Jason or Jasper, walking behind the desk. But he, following Lynne's cue, just directed me to confer with my wife to find what Lynne's advice was!, rather than telling me where the sticks were in fewer words and less time.nSo we got it, in Kmart, you have to wait the queue to get the information which should have been available to everybody electronically.nIf your staff cannot take those ten seconds or so to direct customers in shop, why don't you have a shop map, an interactive panel or an application to do that for you and let your staff do their busy work?
Overall pleasant experience in-store whenever I pop in! There was one absolutely lovely girl that helped my daughter find art supplies yesterday and went the extra mile to look through the different size canvases and easels to find the perfect one for her!
Viktor was scanning receipts and was the best worker ever. We even made him a dollar from talking to him. He kept checking our bag. Sadly he didn't give us his Snapchat, Instagram or tiktok. PS give viktor a raise!!!
Great service here today.nI popped in to return a cordless iron that I had bought for my lovely wife.nWe had a difference of opinion about the benefits of a cordless iron and despite my best attempts in converting her she is insisting on the corded option so this one had to go back.nThe shop was busy and the customer service desk was getting smashed. Despite this the young girl that served me was very polite and helpful.nWe briefly discussed the reason for the return of the item and she seemed as surprised as me that my wife would not embrace the freedom of being able to iron anywhere in the house without the restriction of a cord.nMy refund was processed quickly and efficiently and despite the noticeable stress that some of my fellow Christmas shoppers were under I had a very positive experience in this shop, well done!
I purchased underwear last week only to realise they're the wrong size, I was aware of the exchange policy on underwear, however these I purchased were still in its packaging, had never been opened, never worn, practically brand new even after a week. On Saturday, I got to contacting the store, and after 30 minutes of waiting on the phone, I spoke to a team member, and the store manager denied me a refund due to the aforementioned policy; despite my best attempt in stating they were brand new and never opened. I can understand if the underwear was used at all and how this would go against policy, but I find it frustrating that Kmart has a strict policy for a very simple refund/exchange.nnI would also like to mention that upon revisiting Kmart today, the underwear section is selling opened and missing underwear packs, even a week after my first visit.
