The prices are very good, but honestly, everything looks very dirty, with a lot of dust everywhere, on the products, and everything is very disorganized. Perhaps it would be a good idea to consider hiring more staff for visual inspection and cleaning.
Have had nothing but great experiences shopping at this Kmart. Lovely staff- the employee at the front the store, Mirabel, is very helpful and always friendly. The store is organised and easy to navigate. 5/5.
Mary & Analise argued for a good half an hour over $4 putting the responsibility on the customer for products scanning above label saying they would only honour it if there was 5 or more of the same item regardless of whether someone else took a couple in the meantime. They say customers should read barcodes before buying.
First time at Kmart Marrickville.nHad a plesant experience even though they didn't have a register open. The lady that worked at the self service registers was very helpful and greeted everyone with a smile, even though she was very busy. Kmart need more staff like her, I think her name was Katherine.
I left a 3 star review a couple of days ago genuinely thinking at the time that I had some feedback I wanted to give them but in hindsight I think I was just very burnt out, tired of people being jerks in general and I displaced my anger onto them. This is a great store, I like it, they do a great job. You truly never know what someone is going through when you encounter them and when you're upset, people seem more hostile than they actually are. I want to normalise owning mistakes even on Google reviews. Why not. My apologies kmart marrickville. Keep up the good work.
