Great variety store with a great range household merchandise, clothing and much more. Lots of specials and discounted items. Close to escalators that take you to the upstairs or downstairs parking areas.
Value for money when shopping for like items, always the cheapest price around. Although consumer service was not at its best at the time as they were busy restacking the shelves. If your happy to wander at your own leisure, then this is a must on you're next visit to bayside
Buyer beware, apparently you can't take back quilt covers with a receipt if it's been opened, tried returning a quilt cover that hasn't been used in the original packaging with receipt and was told I could donate it by a very unhelpful staff member. Was also shown in very small writing their policy, unfortunately it isn't on the front door as you enter but at the service desk...
Really appreciate Chloe and her colleague with long brown hair whose name I sadly didn’t get. They really went above and beyond, helping me find an item ant the last minute, and we shared a good laugh too.
SHOUT OUT TO Kmart manager Leanne, regarding a defective Blisse Brass Wall Sconce light I simply went to return due to it being faulty who refused too. Despite clearly explaining that Australian Consumer Law entitles me to a refund for defective goods, Leanne insisted that consumer law only applies to items like cars and that Kmart's return policy overrides it. Her refusal to acknowledge my rights under the law was both disappointing and unprofessional. It was clear she was trying to make a point in front of her colleagues, making the situation even more difficult, especially with my young child present.nAfter lodging a complaint with Consumer Affairs and Kmart head office, I received a full refund, along with an apology from Kmart fornthe inconvenience caused. It's a shame that such unprofessional conduct was my experience, so just a quick note to Leanne that I got what I was entitled to and to brush up on her training.
