Always nice to shop at Kmart. Plenty of choices and variety of all stock. Kmart Casey staff is friendly and provides a good service.
I went through the self checkout just after 9pm tonight 8/01/25, I had scanned an eyeliner which was too light and need assistance and the young girl was walking past so I politely said excuse me to which she walked over and fixed it without saying a word and walked off in the middle of me saying that I had one more. I had to call her back over again but by the time I scanned the second one she was leaning against a register on her phone ignoring two other customers who also needed assistance. I work in retail also and I would truely never have treated someone like that or ignored all the customers in self serve to stand on my phone and then get more annoyed when a customer actually needs help. I ended up needing assistance three times, all of which had to be cleared by a team member. While I try to be as nice a possible and be understanding as I deal with the same stuff, this was just plain rude she refused to speak a word to me at all, walked off on me mid sentence and was blandly ignoring customers. Feel free to look over the cameras.
Click and collect takes sooooo long! The desk you have to go to is all the way in the back corner, but they don't even keep the click and collect orders in that are, the person seems to have to go all the way to the other side eof the store to get them to bring them to customers waiting at the desk in the far corner... madness.... people have to wait so long, and a queue builds up, and no one comes to serve the counter. Saw multiple people out back of this desk we are supposed to go to for our click and collects, but no one came over despite the queue.nAnd then, my click and collect orders was heavy but do you have trolleys available for people who don't have a spare coin on them? No! Ended up needing to call home to get someone to drop what they were doing to come assist me because I could not carry it ll the way to me car myself
The lady in charge of self serve registers around 4:20pm today was lovely, would give her 5 stars.nnHowever, the lady manning the exit door around that same time deserves 0 stars, thus the overall 2 star rating. She'd do well to spend more time relaxing at home because she clearly takes her job too seriously. She scanned the two receipts myself and the person I was shopping with had, then tried sticking her hands into our trolly to move things around because we had a bunch of loose homeware items laying in the bottom we had just purchased from the $2 shop in the centre, all the while barely saying a word to us to explain what she was trying to check.nnIf Kmart doesn't trust its customer base rightly so in many cases, I'll give them that, maybe they shouldn't give us no option other than to use self serve.
The worst Kmart I’ve ever been to. Everything is just a mess, nothing in stock, aisles are small, junk everywhere. Racks of clothing a mess, toy aisles all a mess.
