Kmart Camberwell is just the place to go for all you quick shopping. This is not the biggest store, but big enough that you should Get What You Want. the quality is good & prices are fair!
For my safety i will use anonim. I looking for a bike and they connect me with bike man of the day. They not explain what to do next or what is the procedure of buying a bike, they just tell me to pay and comeback again. Long story short I came back with hope i can got my bike for work and its been 3 weeks or more since last week of april till now. My bike was not finisih and i need to back another day.nnThe good things of the story is, i met another bike man of the day i think its the manager. He is really kind and helpfull. But for sure, I am not happy with the service here. Seems like the communication was un clear. Even when i pay the bike last april, the cashier didnt even tell me what is the procedure. Such waste of time
The lack of staff help in peak times is disgraceful. If you need staff help at the checkout or a plastic bag, be prepared to wait 5-10mins whilst others who came after you are helped first. Sadly I've seen this happen multiple times, to others as well as myself.nThe store itself has a decent variety of items though.
I usually enjoy shopping at Kmart, and I’ve had good experiences at other locations. However, my recent visit to this store was very disappointing.nnEverything was fine until we reached the self-checkout area. The customer representative at the billing section repeatedly came over to our checkout counter and kept checking whether we had scanned and billed all our items. While I understand that staff need to monitor self-checkout areas, the way this was handled made us feel extremely uncomfortable and singled out.nnAs international students, we felt unfairly targeted and judged. The repeated checking felt excessive and unnecessary, and it came across as discriminatory. We have shopped at many other Kmart stores before and never experienced anything like this.nnWe hope the store management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that all customers are treated with respect and without bias. No one should feel uncomfortable or unwelcome while shopping.
