Disappointing experience. Travelled quite a distance to get to the location to look for the hugalumps. Asked the staff if they had the small sized ones and they said if there was it’d be somewhere in a section. But they should be everywhere.nnLooked through the entire section to realise there probably isn’t even any instock. Disappointed.nnI’m still thankful that the plushies weren’t all scattered on the floor though!
I had a very disappointing experience at Kmart Broadway today.nnI went in to purchase an item that was available on the shelf, but several of the boxes were heavily damaged and clearly looked like they had been opened before. Since the packaging was in such poor condition, I simply wanted to ask whether there was a brand-new one in stock or if the item could be returned in case anything was missing.nnThere were very few staff members available on the floor to ask for help. I went to the counter where two staff members were present and not assisting other customers. The first staff member redirected me elsewhere without offering help. The second responded in a rude and dismissive tone before I could even explain my question, assuming I was asking for a discount which I was not. When I clarified that I just wanted to ask about stock or returns due to the damaged box, she acted as though she was too busy and told me to find someone else.nnIt was frustrating and disappointing to experience such poor customer service over a very reasonable question. I ended up leaving without making a purchase.nnI hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves staff training and customer service at this store.
Everything is kind of overpriced for what it’s really worth and the aisles were untidy and messy. I was looking for a nice jacket here but I didn’t manage to find anything that was my style or my correct sizing.
Great branch of Kmart open till midnight every night. Always lots of stock & the store is laid out well. Sometimes a team member can be difficult to find - but there is always someone st the Service Desk just next to the Technology department.
Worst shopping experience ever. The staff were neither friendly nor helpful. They either seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing or simply didn’t care. This isn’t the first time the website showed items as “in stock,” only for the store to say they might have been sold and they had no idea where they were. Basically, when you shop here, you’re completely on your own.
