Shout out to Vivi from Kitchens on Kent. She is an absolute delight and was so lovely!! Not only did she help me have my fill of oysters, she’s also a great photographer. It was our anniversary and my partner made reservations, after our meal & dessert Vivi brought out a special little platter with “happy anniversary” & some great chocolate & fruit jellies. The food was great but Vivi made the experience even better!! Such a great part of your team & so nice to deal with.
Went for the buffet. I had been a bit indecisive over going as it seemed pricey - but was so glad I did go! The waiters and staff were all very friendly and attentive and made me feel welcome . The food was great. Everything was delicious as well as being presented wonderfully. The desserts were like little bite sized artworks. Great buffet to treat yourself with. A feast for the eyes as well as the tastebuds. Definitely recommend
It is my first time to Kitchens on Kent at the Langham Hotel. The buffet dinner was simply excellent, the seafood were fresh and there were a large variety of desserts. I will definitely visit again as the service from the staff and chef were superb. But overall the atmosphere in the buffet was quite relaxing and with music and aromatic fragrance it made my experience more enjoyable. Parking: There are on street parking for 2 hrs which is more than enough time for the buffet.
Tried the buffet for the first time. Overall a pleasant experience with high quality of seafood. Compared to the buffet at the Crown, not as much variety however the quality may be better. The grill section of this buffet is a hidden gem - be sure to try when you visit as it's tucked away in the corner.
The best breakfast buffet I’ve been to ever. Everything is a good choice, the scrambled eggs are Michelle’s star quality. So fresh and elegant. And is never overcrowded. Any requests can be catered for. Only downside is the price is $50pp if you have not booked a room with the hotel adjacent. Otherwise breakfast was included for us.Recommended dishesCold Display and Salad Bar, Fresh Fruit Selection, Cheese Selection
Great buffet experience. I liked how they had ready made meals but also how you can order items that are made fresh to order such as wagyu beef and pasta. The lobster tasted great and wasn’t dry. Service was amazing. Not too much variety compared to other buffets and the oysters were tiny but overall it was a good experience.
The dinner buffet concept is interesting where you get to order dishes to the table and help yourself at the buffet tables. The buffet is definitely worth it if you are a seafood lover. If not, it is a lovely experience with exceptional staff that are extremely nice and helpful. Food is of high quality and fresh. The gnocchi which can be ordered to the table is fantastic.
My daughter loved the new bubble tea station. The seafood is fresh, lobster would better if it wasn't overcooked and was done till just under with xo sauce instead. The hot food is hit and miss.. the fresh noodles and pasta was quite good. The robata was terrible, salty and dry. Deserts were ok. Place looks nice and relaxing and service was very good.
Pros: - Lovely atmosphere - Excellent customer service - Wide variety of eastern and western dishes - High quality ingredients - Unlimited cans of soft-drink! Cons: - Only one serving of lobster per person - The shell-crabs were spoilt when we arrived
We went for the dinner seafood buffet $130pp. They bring you a 3 tier of seafood prawns, crab, morton bay bugs, sashimi, oysters and they will refill or bring you more of whatever you like. It’s a 2 hour sitting. You also get half a lobster each. The Morton bay and oysters were the best, the sashimi is okay. You can order things off a menu but didn’t like them very much. Also there is other food in the buffet roast meats, stews, curries. All okay but kinda average. I’d stick with the seafood. We had a bottle of Prosecco $85. They have chocolate fountain which is fun, and there are a selection of soft drink for free included with the buffet. There is a selection of little cakes which I wasn’t a massive fan of. I preferred the selection of icecream. And we finished off with some cheese & crackers. Nice ambience and the staff were very nice.
