Really good calamari meal, chips cooked wonderfully, fresh crisp garden salad but super stingy with the tartare sauce. One tiny little packet. Please give us more sauce
Its a long standing fish and chip shop with new owners. I am pleased to say they have maintained the quality of the food along with good service. We had the seafood platter for 2 and I thought it was great. All freshly made, the fish was great and the prawns were good too. Standard beer battered chips are cooked well.
Enjoyed a really beautiful, FRESH, Grilled sweet lip fillet with coleslaw - flavoursome seasoning at a great price for 3 of us seated in perfect positioning on a yucky hot summer noon time to enjoy a really lovely breeze!!! Better still, at a great value price too! $37.80 for 4!!! Definitely my new local go to place for fish & salad!!
We have been getting our seafood platter for 2 here for years and unfortunately something has changed in the new year. Meal over cooked in dirty oil and lucky if we got a quarter serving of chips…so disappointed.

This was once the best fish & chips shop I've been to in Brisbane. Sadly the new owners have cut a lot of cost and corners. The grilled fish now has so much flour & oil it could nearly pass as battered. The home made tartar sauce that came in a meal was replaced with a nasty masterfoods packet. The seafood salad basically has no seafood anymore, just seafood extender and a lot of mayo. The coleslaw has more mayo than cabbage. A once happy customer lost.
The seafood platter for $20 is a dry portion of battered seafood. No flavour at all, comes with a very small sauce and a piece of lemon. I'd rather get a much better meal at a kebab or MacDonald's.
Delicious hot chips, dagwood dog, and potato scallops. Good pricing too! I will definitely be back.
