Kinoto Japanese Restaurant

Kinoto staff are so wonderful. You guys let me grab a drink and sit for 20 minutes until the rest of my party came, which was so kind of you. Thank you! The kitchen staff also look so happy and work hard! My favourite food item would probably be the sushi rolls. They were made fresh and were delicious. Those were a 10/10! I would definitely go here again just to get some more sushi rolls. We ordered the barramundi, wagyu beef and salmon Don. The wagyu beef was delicious! I'd also order that one again for sure. I also love that this restaurant gives you a salad, rice AND CHIPS with your meal! It's a huge meal and definitely good for us when we didn't have lunch. I personally found that the barramundi wasn't my favourite dish, especially due to the tiny fish bones throughout mine. Which obviously is unavoidable and not their fault. The fish fell apart beautifully, but I found the flavour a bit lacking. I would definitely come back again for their lunch specials when I visit the Gold Coast again. Also because they're so conveniently next to the train station. Good location.

We live on north Gold Coast but we were shopping at Pac Fair & we weren’t too keen on packed food court food so we drove a quick 5min to this lovely restaurant! It’s far from us but I will 110% be back, fresh authentic food, value for money, lovely staff & so so filling! Our lunch was only $11.90 :

Authentic Japanese and good value for money. The food is made fresh to order. The dinner menu has plenty of options and the lunch specials are great for a special lunch treat!

Been a while since I ate in a Japanese restaurant ran by Japanese people but this is one ! Service is great and the food also good. My fave Japanese food is chicken nanban or karaage and hard to find one that does it good. Sometimes it is just abundant of mayo or the chicken was cooked bit too dry, this one hit the spot nicely. The salad too was nice with sesame ? flavours on them, not just some garnish you normally put on the side. Definitely will be back when we are back in GC.

Food was authentic even I don't know why meal was served with chips. Would be great if there are more options for veggies. Staff was friendly. Will come again.

This is a little mum & dad shop that serves Japanese food styles you will not find in flashy restaurants. The staff are friendly and always smiling even when it's really busy. The prices are good and servings are a decent size. After you first visit, you'll just remember this place as somewhere for a decent feed and decent pricing and yummy food.

Kinoto is one of those places at Robina that is a bit of a secret gem; about 18 years ago Jerome operated a tepanyaki style shop over near Baskin Robbins which did the best lunch specials and had a real following. Then they relocated to Station Quickstop Shops near the Woolies servo. And have been dishing up the goodness ever since. I'm boring and order the pink dragon sushi meal which is salmon and avo sushi roll, served with a little fresh salad, pickled ginger. But there's lots of choose from, even some sushi rolls in a cabinet for the grab and go lunches. The owners are so lovely, the food is fresh and quick and the menu options varied. Well worth a visit.

An hidden gem. We stumbled upon this Japanese restaurant. Hidden near the Robina station. The authentic and classic style Japanese food was fantastic. The service was just amazing and food is made to order. We will be back Arigato!

BEST RAMEN!!! Incredible chefs - amazing authentic Japanese food. We are locals and this is our go to take out dinner.
