Enjoyed a great dinner here on a busy Sunday night. Fabulous, delicious Thai food. Service was great. Ordered entrees of curry puffs, duck pancake and mixed sate. All very tasty. Shared 5 generous mains including crispy pork belly, soft shell crab, sizzling beef, duck curry and sate chicken. All served with steamed rice and washed down with cocktails. We have eaten here on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend
Ok this place is so good we gave up the chance of trying something new and ate there two nights in a row. I must say, second service was just as good as the first. Staff were attentive and the food came out and met all expectations. Kids loved this place and I can't recommend it enough. BOOKING IS ESSENTIALFood: 5/5
Good Thai food at reasonable prices in a convenient location in Canberra Civic. Staff service was good and food came out incredibly fast and fresh. Only gave 2 stars for atmosphere as this place can get incredibly crowded after 6pm and staff often will rush you and limit you to 1 hour of dining. There is also separate queue lines for customers who reserved/pre-booked and those that didn't. Highly recommend that you book ahead of time if you plan on dining after 6pm. Also gave atmosphere 2 stars as had to sit outside in the hot sun and there is no shade cover for outside seating. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dishes available Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly
Would have been perfect if the food came a little bit quicker, but still, the flavours were insanely good. All dishes came at the same timewhat changed my mind elevating the stars from 4 to 5. Best Thai in Canberra and that s probably the reason it s always packed.Food: 5/5
Kinn Thai is everywhere in Australia. I loved one in Garden City, Brisbane but this place seems better than Garden City one. All the food I ordered was delicious and absolutely great. However, atmosphere is just fair. Definitely I am becoming a regular customer.Food: 4/5
We all colleagues visited this place. Pros: 1. Booking was easy 2. Order was easy 3. Great customer service 4. Food was good Cons: 1. Expensive 2. Always crowded. So can't enjoy while eating.
Food service was super fast, and drinks was delicious. They did say that we only had a 1.5hr seating for Sunday lunch. Although this was said, when we finished there were lots of empty tables, so they didn’t remind us to leave and we stayed for an extra 30min. We sat outside as we had a dog, but there was outdoor heater to keep us warm and cozy.
Great food & Great restaurant. We were a large number of people and i am so happy how the staff helped us. It was a bit chaotic with all the orders but they handled very well, so thank you so much for being so patient and serving us with such cheerfulness. The food was great, the restaurant is so pretty, it is BYO and make sure to book in if you want to visit because it’s usually very busy. Definitely visiting again.
This restaurant has changed owners and location. It’s got all new staff and the food is no where as god as it use to be. Very disappointing my chicken fried rice tasted like chicken stock powder. Chick was dry. Curry puff tasted like cinnamon and very sweet!my friend ordered chicken cashew nut with no garlic. They wait came out after 20 mins and said sorry we can’t make it with no garlic want something different. She said satay. How ever he already brought out my friend rice, so I was waiting for my friends food to arrive then he came out and brought the cashew nut chicken. So confusing they should of brought both meals together :-
Soft shell crab and crispy eggplant was well liked. Rest are good. We order the Set Menu 3 and they gave every dish one after the other without any gap. Large portions too.
