Food was so good it literally offset the unfriendly service. Rocked up with my wife and baby for some lunch, and asked for a table to cater for a pram. No smile, and barely received a ‘hello’, as the staff member informally pointed at a couple of tables for us to sit. Once seated, the second staff member maintained the same service, delivering water and cups, only stating that we need to order via QR code. Suffice it to say, the food was an absolute 10/10. Some of the best Thai I’ve had in a long time, and we literally cleaned our plates. As the wait staff aren’t responsible for tremendously good food we had today so the lack of service can be forgiven. Had they simply greeted us with a smile and a bit of courtesy, I would have easily given this a 5 star. Will be back, but my expectations on the service side will be set extremely low.
Authentic Thai food. Pad Thai was executed perfectly. Wok flavour and presentation was on point. Seafood Tom Yam can be more flavourful. Generous serving of seafood. Satay was a bit of a letdown. Dry and flavourless. There was too much MSG. Should do moo ping pork skewers. Sill be back to try the other dishes.
Food was relatively good, Quick service, and place is kinda aesthetically decorated like good thai restaurant. However portion size for fried rice is a bit in the smaller side. Pork was good, flavourful and crispy. Will come back $24 pp roughly
Have been coming here for years but recently the portion size has dramatically reduced. Funnily the price hasn’t reduced. Food quality seems ok and is pretty consistent. Staff are surly and flustered. They seem intent on squeezing all diners next to the windows which in my opinion is too close.
The crispy fish and chilli pork are their best dishes! Best Thai restaurant in Brisbane north. Highly recommended
We have been coming here since this restaurant opened. We used to visit very very frequently, usually once a week!. We had a few bad experiences rotten prawns, microwaved mash still very cold in the centre, bad service etc and coupled with the substantial price increases, we stopped coming regularly and eventually didn't come back. We decided after 6 months of not returning, to give it another go yesterday. The restaurant was not busy, in fact there was only one other seated table outside when we arrived. We waited 23mins from ordering to receive our main meals, the longest we have had to wait... This could be because it was lunch and we didn't order one of the lunch sets. We ordered coconut prawn appetizer at $16, Prawn Pad Thai at $25, Thai fried Rice $21, lychee mocktail $11, beer $7, which totalled $79 for two adults. A very expensive Thai food experience to say the least. The food arrived and the portion sizes have dramatically decreased since we last visited. The food was absolutely delicious on the upside and we suddenly remembered why we used to love this place. Unfortunately though, due to petite portions and exuberant pricing being well above what we normally pay for decent Thai food, we will not be returning frequently but rather will return for special occasions.
Red Curry Duck is my favourite here! The squid for entree was also fantastic quality. I love the service, love the vibe - it’s my local go to any time friends or family want to visit I suggest we go here!
Love this resturant. The food is just divine! So so good. We keep coming back for more. Extremely flavorful. I wish you guys did chicken red curry or atleast allow to change the meat. But overall one or the best thai restaurants for my husband and I
The service was amazing, we had a booking for 7pm, we were seated as soon as we arrived even though we were early, food was amazing and it felt like 5 mins after ordering it arrived, which was a good thing cause we had just finished work and were starving. They do not split the bill however if you pay in cash you do get a 10% discount, we will definately go back, but you will do well to make a booking they are very popular and as we found out, it is for good reason
Was a bit busy during the weekend but the food tasted good and arrived promptly. Papya salad was the highlight of the lot. Overall a good and a tasty experience.
