Had a meal here for the first time since the renovations. Beautiful food. One of the waitresses left a bit to be desired in terms of attitude which was a bit of a dampener on the mood of the group but the place itself and the food was spot on. Gets packed so recommended booking ahead.
Had a BBQ Bluff Schnitzel.nTopping was nice but the schnitzel was pre cooked: dense and not juicy. Could have been a real winner had it been freshly cooked. They probably do this to cater to the numbers but I won't be back and long term isn't sustainable.
Since the upgrade the dining area space is very limited as is seating availability. On our recent visit the meals were very disappointing. The food had a funky odour. The schnitzels were tough and the chips soggy. Cooked in filthy oil as a result of poor kitchen management. No improvement here, give it a miss.
The bar staff saved this review, absolute legends they are! Meals however took an hour and a half to arrive, quality was varied. For the price the steak was a 2/10 at best. Would recommend this place as a vibe for a few beers with your mates but the food needs a lot of work
Great service by TOM regarding our booking there was so many issues because we book through wat if.com …but TOM from Kingston hotel done beyond everything to help us and sort out our booking great service experience keep up the great work TOM
