My son's Pirate's of the Curry production held here. Very cosy. Despite the cosy size of the hall, microphones would have had all the i' dotted and t's crossed. Chairs in the hall they used didn't have fixed chairs. So seat number is irrelevant. Caulfield primary, you kids rocked!! I'm so proud of you all and my son Kaden Hong.
My son's school production was held there. Medium size theatre we were in. No noticable parking but a taxi rank is and private bus area out front.
I love Kingston City Hall. I have been coming here for years and years - literally as when I was a kid my primary school did a concert here! But more recently have been to comedy shows Arj Barker, Jimeon, Stephen K. Amos, Bob Franklin, Dolly Diamond and more and concerts Scott Carne and friends doing Queen, Symphony Orchestra doing John Williams music and even my old primary school's school spectacular! So something for everyone. Easy to get to too, if you can't walk here, then carpark is available, and it's right next to Moorabbin train station. Look out for the old clock on what used to be the Moirabbin Town Hall but is now Kingston City Hall. Or what Arj Barker jokingly called Moor-a-bin! Note I did a review over 2 years ago but it disappeared so have done again, sorry to all the people who read original, here's a new old one!. 6.4.24 here for Comedy Festival Neighbourhood Sessiins, 3rd year in a row, great value and great entertainment. Will come every year they have it! 19.4. Here for Simply Brill which was simply brilliant! How could I resist!. Great musical journey via stories behind some of the greatest songs ever recorded. 15.6. Here for The Sunshine Club, a musical of reconciliation. Great message.
Fantastic Venue, I have seen so many great acts there and as a kid who grew up in Moorabbin iv shared so many special occasions at this venue! It's so Iconic we even shot some photos of our Legendary Plumbers Utes in front of this old beauty!
Great intimate venue when in its small configuration. No seat numbers makes it sit where you want. Emma Donovan was terrific.
