I booked in for a restyle and beard trim, which typically allows for extra time during the appointment. Jacob was laser focused on the job in hand and I was really impressed with the end results. I’d been growing my hair out for about 4 years prior and wanted to go back to a fresh fade. He was more than happy to offer a bit of guidance on what would work best, and explained why. I appreciated that in particular. Looks like a solid team there and I’ll most certainly be back. Thanks again.
I was lucky enough to find Kristina at the King’s Domain academy as an apprentice barber. She’s so good I travel from the west to South Yarra for my haircuts now. Kristina is an inclusive, communicative and friendly barber. It’s so clear she wants to make sure her clients are happy with their cuts and has excellent knowledge to give advice on what would suit best. It’s so lovely to come in and know I’ll be looked after with such a high level of customer service AND walk out with a high class cut. Highly recommend Kristina, especially for any gender diverse clients who may be anxious about going to a barber!
Had a fade cut here before with one of the junior staff and had a great experience, as well as a decent cut. So I returned today on my lunch break for a fade with a ‘principal’ barber - assuming the experience would be even better given the higher price point. Well I wasn’t even offered a drink. Barber was running behind so I was waiting 15 minutes past my appointment time. Their next appointment arrived during my cut and I felt I was being rushed through to allow for them because they were mates. I was led off the chair with a ‘thanks mate’ my biggest gripe of the experience was being left with cut hair all over my face and down my neck. They have hot towels… which they seem to use on some clients and not others. Overall disappointing experience and walked out with an ordinary cut I could have had for well under the $70 I was charged.Service: Fade cut
Ladies have you have ever cut/butchered your short hair like you’ve overdone your eyebrows? Today I saw Jaycee a master of his craft an expert at salvaging what you/I never thought possible. An incredible experience. A must for a corrective cut and style you’ll love. You’ll go back there is plenty of eye candy.Service: Custom cut
Nice place, with a good environment and a very polite staff! Worth the price charged. Unfortunately they do not accept walk-ins, and all services need to be booked in advance. My experience wasn't that good because even with a booking I waited for almost half-hour.
Booked in ‘fade’ thinking I could get my hair trimmed from the top as well. Didn’t realise I had booked a 15min appointment and was told they can’t touch the top. Feedback: if a customer has made a mistake - educate them but also offer a solution on the spot. Whether that’s booking another appointment, waiting a bit longer etc. Not just say you don’t have time because you have other clients waiting. The last time I went there I got a skin fade and got my hair trimmed from the top but this time I couldn’t because of no time and the fact that it’s a fade only. Somethings wrong there. The included beer was nice though!
Great Haircuts, great team working there. Only sore point is to get appointments on time. Guys you need to plan your bookings, last 3 times I waited over 30 mins. I then get the feeling everything is rushed to make up time. My time is valuable too. I'll need to go elsewhere if you can't get this right.Service: Scissor cut
Bad. Thought it would be a a quality barber given the prices they charge. I even went for one of the more senior Barbers and I can honestly say I got one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever had. I asked for a low fade and not tapered off at the back. I also explained that I like the length of my hair and didn’t want it any shorter. I had nice long hair going in there. I came out with a crop that is way too short to even style. My hair looks like I’ve recently had a shaved head and I’m now growing it out, so I look like an actual microphone! Will take a good month before I can get any sort of style back into it. Had my hair styled like I like it for years and one visit here and it’s all gone. Can honestly say I’d have been better off having a crack at cutting my own hair.Service: Scissor cut
Best Skin fade, JACOB doing an amazing job, satisfied every time with the outcome, if only the appointments were 45 minutes and not 30, would be so much better.
