An absolutely brilliant place to have a few beers
Minimal service. Barmaid more interested in chatting up regulars and feeding fish than serving. Flat ginger beer although she refused to acknowledge it. Oh and “only takes cash” has got “minimal going through the books” written all over it. Wouldn’t go back
Best place to play music, great sound man
Unfortunately playing the same music over and over. All you hear is loud bass. Should play more of the 60th, 70th, 80th brings fare more people in

Beautiful place and some great music comes out of here
Basic pub run by Sam, a lovely lady. Unfortunately she has no vision so this place becomes boring very quickly. Live start up bands and regular acts, same every week. Good place to go to if you want to jam. Very friendly, but Sam needs to do more to keep people coming back.
Came on a Friday night excepting to it to be busy, it was not. Me and my mate brought a can of our own ginger beer from home, not realising it was byo and when we went to the toilet they took our drinks without even telling us then after the lady came up to us and didn’t even tell us with some respect that she had taken them. Honestly thought this place would be nice, it is not.
Came here 5 years ago and had an awesome night, live band and pulled pork and bbq food. Came back to come relive some of the magic and was told they haven't served food here since 2006 and the dog can sit on the front by the road. See ya never
Sam & Staff fantastic bunch great atmosphere inside & outside absolutely picturesque with river views ,definitely will be back
