I had a dinner there with my friends to celebrate one’s brithday and we did have a great experience. This was such an impressive Irish pub with authentic food, fresh beers, live music and signature decoration. I pretty like the fish and chips and the pizzas. Fast service and friendly staff. Appreciate it !
Fun restaurant with very friendly staff with great decor for a Pub. Wood sticky tables and mostly stools for seats. Both of us had the ribeye steak and both thought the steaks were just ok, lots of gristle and not super flavorful.
An Irish themed pub/bar in the commercial center of Canberra. Located on a pedestrian only street with outdoor and extensive indoor seating. In addition to beer and wine there is a small menu of pub classic meals. Meals are simple but well cooked for a reasonable price.
good big Irish pub, plenty of room .good range of drinks but no vb well hard to get a vb in canberra , food was good too
Is it the best bar in the world? Absolutely not. Is it the best bar in Australia? Nope. Is it the best bar in Canberra? Possibly not. Is it in a great location, serving a range of good beers very good Guinness and does it have good pub grub? Yes. Do they have live music? Yes. Do I come here with mates rather frequently? Absolutely yes!
I bought pizza here and it was pretty good. Lots of drink for people that want to get tipsy. The service was good depending on what you need at the time. One can experience delay a little bit. It was very busy place. Different sections are available to suit your celebration. Can check this place out with friends and family
Great food and the live music was fantastic. Will definitely be backFood: 5/5
If you're looking for a cozy and authentic Irish pub experience in the heart of Canberra, look no further than this charming establishment. From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted with warm hospitality and a lively atmosphere that perfectly captures the spirit of Ireland. The menu features classic pub fare and traditional Irish dishes, all of which are expertly prepared and served with a smile. Whether you're in the mood for hearty bangers and mash, savory shepherd's pie, or a perfectly poured pint of Guinness, this pub has something to satisfy every craving. But what really sets this Irish pub apart is its welcoming ambiance and friendly staff. Whether you're a local regular or a first-time visitor, you'll feel right at home in this inviting space, where the conversation flows as freely as the beer. So if you're looking for a pub that embodies the true spirit of Ireland, be sure to stop by and raise a glass at this Canberra gem.
I went here for a evening dinner after going through civic with a friend. The gin and tonic was quite expensive at 11 dollars for something thrown together in a plastic cup. The pie was decently sized, hearty and well prepared with decent flavor and a good portion of chips at the side. The Beef Burger was so-so, but overpriced at 22 dollars- with quite dry store bought buns and diced carrots oddly on the inside. The overall environment was very authentic for an Irish pub, but the cleanliness is just below-alright. The dining seats were quiet faded and dusty with the tables having a strange sticky residue. Would come again, for an emergency night out.
Great food and drink, service is fast and professional, and good atmosphere at this key establishment in Canberra city Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available
