We used to love this place and came here often but unfortunately something has changed and now it’s a little disappointing.nnFirst off I found a hair in my food and when I told someone they said they would talk to the manager and that’s the last I heard. I didn’t feel like finishing my food after that, so i wasted a good portion of it because of that.nnThe portions are now smaller for the same price as before and there’s less to choose from. We usually got lamb but that’s no longer even an option. They only had tofu and noodles on the train so we are forced to buy from the tablet which is more expensive.nFor 3 soups, 2 drinks, 2 meats, 1 luncheon meat, 1 rice, 2 sauces and 2 veggies it came to $93 and we used to be able to get a lot more for that.nnI can understand if this was right after the lunch rush but the train should be always be stocked or at least have a few options not just a few types of noodle and occasionally other dishes and that’s it!! this has happened the last few times I’ve come here between 1-2pm.nnI used to love this place but unfortunately I don’t think we will be coming back here anytime soon.
My 2nd visit here and it was outstanding. We used their tablet to order our food, which was so simple because of their app. I am normally a big meat eater but the vegetable options were so varied and there was so much that I would normally consider. The staff were both friendly and helpful, making the ordering and the evening run so smoothly
I went there for an early dinner at 4:30, and it turned out to be a great choice for those who prefer milder flavors. We tried the tom yum and laksa broths, which were fresh and nice. We ordered beef, fish balls, tofu, and chewy octopus using the tablet menu. We took noodles from the train in front of us. The portions were enough, and we left feeling satisfied. The bill for two people came to $67, which we found reasonable. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, not too crowded, and the staff was attentive. If you're looking for a relaxed hot pot experience with plenty options of broths and a clean selection of ingredients, this place is worth a visit.
First time here on a Sunday nite and the place was heaving full of people.nA interesting concept soup restaurant with ordering the base soup and adding extra choices like noodles , meats , vegetables and cook them right at your table.nMany extra sauces and spices can be added too.nPretty cool concept although I found the process of ordering from one iPad a little time consuming and frustrating.nFriendly enough staff and not long to wait for your food.
