After eating here last time, we both missed the light flavor of this hot pot restaurant, and the seafood was very fresh, all swimming fish, shrimp, and crab. That's why we came back again. It's fresh and light, but you can also choose to have it spicy. It's a personal choice. I personally like that their seafood is very fresh; they don't give you dead crabs or shrimp.
The service here was shockingly poor and unprofessional. Three of us visited around 5pm and ordered earlier than several other tables, yet our food arrived after customers who came later. Apparently, ordering first does not mean being served first at this restaurant.nnOne hotpot stove at our table was not working, so we pressed the service bell twice. A male staff member clearly noticed us and chose to ignore it. The restaurant was not busy at all, yet staff were standing in the kitchen chatting. What was interesting is that when other tables pressed the bell, staff went over immediately. When our table pressed it, we were left waiting.nnAt one point, we saw staff near the kitchen pointing at our table and talking. Our meat plate also looked strange as shown in the photo, so we pressed the bell again. Instead of helping, staff continued laughing and chatting. No one came to assist.nnWe had to call a female staff member twice while she was cleaning, and she only responded after we waved. She explained the meat, but completely ignored the bigger issue: we were repeatedly overlooked. No apology. No acknowledgement.nnEven when we wanted to pay, we pressed the bell again and saw 3–4 staff in the kitchen pointing and laughing before finally sending someone over. That felt disrespectful and uncomfortable.nnWe already spoke to the manager and hope this behaviour changes. Customers come to dine, not to be ignored or treated like a joke. We paid for service, and what we received was far below any acceptable standard.
Look what’s in your pot people, when I showed photo to reception, they look in disbelief like it doesn't and will never happen… and reception has said zero words regard to this not even a apology for this to be happen...bill is paid in full....pot was halfway finished when we saw thiskitchen replaced the pot entirely....and for seafood plater, the picture shows a sliced fish that is obviously not basa fish, but they will serve you basa fish fillet, you will pay and not get what you order what if people has allergies?
Had dinner at King HotPot Morley last night. Absolutely love this place. Food was delicious and service was excellent too. Easy to order and food came out immediately even though it was very busy. Kids really enjoyed cooking their own HotPot. We all can't wait to return. 10/10 :
