1 star is generous. Purchased Ottomans that are not a functional furniture item. Multiple phone calls and emails to the store with no response! It’s definitely not the customer service experience I was expecting. I would never buy anything from this store ever again and would warn anyone else thinking of buying furniture from this store to instead look elsewhere. Additional info - thanks for your reply to this post, King Living. I contacted customer care as you suggested and received multiple surveys asking me about my experience but no contact from a staff member. Buyer beware. Don’t be fooled by the hefty price tag that you ate dealing with a reputable business. The reviews don’t lie.

Professional and accuracy in her quotation and choosing the fabrics. paid deposit today on sofa, bed, and chairs. dinning table .
I ordered the Jasper bed knowing it was going to take 4 months for delivery. When the date of delivery/time was booked, I had made arrangements for work so I could be there on delivery. On the day before delivery, they change the time without asking if this works for me. On enquiring customer service, they made absolutely no effort to rearrange a time more suited to me. Said someone would be in touch with me within 48hours. There was no contact. Reached out to them a week and a half later. Same story. Another week later, they send a text informing me of a time and date. I was really over it by this point and just accepted it. One day before the delivery, they change the time yet again. On delivery day, no one arrived or got in contact with me within the delivery time frame. When I tried calling the "contact driver" they sent me, it said it was an invalid number. Called customer service, who said the time had been changed but they can't provide any more details at this point. The bed is not worth the time and issues that comes with it. I never write bad reviews but the appalling customer service and difficulty in delivery has been disappointing for a company i expected to have better service based on how much we actually pay. Looking at the other reviews, I'm not the only person that seems to think this. This is not the service I expected for the price tag. Even Kmart has better delivery services. Will never shop with King again. Unless you work from home or are a stay-at-home person, would not recommend buying here.
I write to express my outrage at the type of people you get to deliver $5k+ lounges. How dare you employ such rude, obnoxious people to deliver product that we have paid thousands of dollars! How dare you not care about your customer once you have received their monies! How dare you expect your customer to put up with such impolite, disrespectful, and abusive delivery people I am appalled that you hire these sort of people to deliver your product and believe its ok that your customer accepts their rudeness! I have been receiving furniture deliveries from various furniture companies for the past month and your delivery people are by far the WORST I am truly aggrieved and shaken by the impertinence of your delivery person… he fought with me the entire time, he would not listen, he would not follow instructions, he advised that I didn’t know what i was talking about, the list goes on The packaging for the cream lounge was appalling The lack of packaging, the lack of care, and the lack of following direction - I’m still in shock and shaking from the experience as I write this email. I have waited my entire life to purchase and receive a King’s Lounge… now I can’t even look at it… it gives me no pleasure add to that the dirty marks left its been an extremely depressing experience. I want you to come and collect this lounge that was delivered today and I want my money back… I don’t want your product, I don’t want anything to do with Kings. You have completely destroyed my desire to own a King’s lounge. I’m horrified.
Similar to others, after sales service is disappointing and so is the quality of the product purchased Jasper lounge package purchased 2017. Admittedly, I contacted customer support with a fault outside of its warranty. The fault is the glue that holds the feather topper to the foam cushion has dissolved resulting in the feather topper bunching which is both uncomfortable and unsightly. Whilst acknowledging that the product is out of warranty, I did expect a lot more from a piece of King furniture than to have something as basic as glue failing. Not faulting service as a result of the out of warranty element but quality is a disappointment for something so expensive.
Planning to order couch online, went to effort of visiting store in person with family so we could discuss fabric/layout options with the intention of buying today to take advantage of sale prices. Although store was nearly devoid of customers there were at least 7 staff and all of them completely ignored us, not even a greeting. I suppose they're not interested in doing business if you're not bourgeois enough looking. If we're going to spend the planned nearly $10,000 on a couch setting, it won't be with King.
This review is for a King Living online, not the Fortitude Valley store who I have not dealt with except to seek help in this miserable shopping experience. I wanted a Jasper for more than a decade and could finally afford one. It arrived, after a very long wait, badly damaged and poorly constructed. When we tried to speak with the online staff to let them know we became sucked into the most dementing loop of unanswered phone calls and emails, followed by bursts of friendly but ultimately fruitless help from a manager on instagram, followed by nothing being actually solved and nobody calling us back. We were told they would rebuild the sofa in the last phone call a week ago, but the sales person got off the phone so fast we had no chance to confirm details. When we tried to confirm details before we absolutely decided if we would go down that path or a full refund, we were completely ignored. We have no idea what is happening. King Living have our money firmly secured in the bank and we have a very disappointing sofa and the dread of having to keep chasing their evasive online customer service staff. We have already spent far too much time on this. The whole thing feels like a bait and switch operation. It's weeks now and nothing is resolved. Never again.
If I could have a no star option that is what I would have chosen. Have bought king living furniture previously but used own guys for delivery. Delivered on time but set up was impossible, my husband and I were at a loss. Both of us practical people who can work out what’s what but the instructions didn’t help. Several hours later we phoned and were sent another set of instructions less informative than the first set. Phoned again oh technical support not available however, after making a fuss, customer service contacted technical support and stated they would be in contact shortly. An hour later we had to phone again as no response from technical services. Shortly after tech services phoned. Instructed use how to connect and all the wiring was tucked under the Velcro! How on earth would they not show this on the set up information. After another hour or so only on recliner was working as there was a part missing! We got told the part would be with us by Friday 24/12 and suggested arranging a courier as if sent by Auspost even with next day delivery we would not receive it til the following week. It arrived the following Thursday almost a week later. I’m this short time we experienced another issue of the recliner jerking for no reason. Reported issue immediately and now 17 January we are still waiting for a local technician to call and arrange a time to fix the jerking, not so good when drinking coffee or wine! My husband wants to hire a Ute and drop it outside the showroom with a sign stating it’s a piece of junk! Not impressed at all with customer service. King quick enough to sell their product as Australian owned but far too slow to deal with issues arising from manufacturing in a foreign country! Will not purchase from king living again. Please take heed of the many one 0 star reviews.
Had quite a positive experience with the sales team instore. Bought a lovely jasper bed with all the trimmings lights charging tables etc. Happy days and expected a wait. our arrival time came and the logistics in dealing with this company to get the bed was an absolute disaster. I’m really unsure if it could have been more difficult. I mean how hard is it . To arrange a date to pick a bed in stock at a big warehouse ? 5hrs later on the phone! Well it appears difficult! multiple stuff around a on pickup and then ….. yes you guessed it . The didn’t give us all the stock ….. missing pieces of our light fittings out charging tables don’t work properly. Fit and finish look ok but still doesn’t matter if they don’t work. Lodged a ticket , multiple phone calls . Emailed and still waiting for a response . Completely ghosted us !. We now need to wait on phone for hours …… do it all again to get our furniture! I mean this company could be great Australian made. Showing rooms . The just can’t deliver in the back end customer service logistics! What a shame as we do love the products…… this journey isn’t over yet but hope to have all our bits of the bed maybe ……this year ….. …….
After spending nearly $10k on our Delta. We were told I that the leather peeling was due to wear and tear! Rubbish!!! No-one even sat on that side of the couch! We were then told the section that was peeling due to the public pool near by that we visit and we must sit on the couch wet after we get home. SORRY WHAT!!! Just to make it clear… we have never even gone to that pool and second of all this person is not assuming we sit on the couch wet!! She had obviously googled mapped my home to try to come up with a an excuse, instead of admitting that the quality is rubbish. My Natuzzi of 18 years went through four young kids with not one issue…. This is so disappointing and $10k down the drain..
