Altogether it was a disappointing lunch. My croissant was burnt my daughters salad was not just wilted but off. Our table was not clean and the chairs were dirty. The playground had old bandaides on the ground the toys were filthy. The steps to the playground were broken with nails popping out. I have pictures but don't know how to attach them. We used to love this place but not now. Very sad to see such neglect. If I could have given no stars I would have.
I don’t live in the area but stopped off to get a coffee on my way through. The walk in is so lovely. A small farm yard style cafe hidden in a quiet street. There are animals and gardens all over. The service was super friendly and the coffee was delicious! Would definitely go back and try out the food when I’m back in the area! Thanks ladies!

The staff were very nice, the food was good, generous portions and very quick service. They also had a jumping castle for children and a playground with plenty of toys, this is a great place to bring a family who have children under the age of 10.
We had a wonderful experience with two babies , We feed the animals ,lamb,horse,pony, roosters. The staff there is friendly,positive and charming. We loved the place ,safe for children, far away from the crowded area. The greenery around gives a great peace and charm. Children loves playing with the toys, enjoyed the slides and swings.The toilets were clean and tidy. All they need is some more enjoyable activity for children like jumping castle or lil photo area with promps.
Quite disappointed. The whole venue is run down. There wasn't a petting zoo open which the kids were looking forward to. We stayed for lunch ..but the cafe was mediocre and overpriced. They advertised that there would be craft and kids activities.. There was some paint and pinecones left on a table...no instructions, no supervision, and no attention given to the state of the activity which was a shambles after the first round of children.... Overall.. disappointing. If a little effort went in it could be a great venue.
Great little play area for the kids while you enjoy coffee or food from the Cafe. Good decent portions for your money. And the farm animals are not to be missed.
went to reopening day last month. our toddler liked the goats. was very busy so we didn't eat. the playground is suitable for slightly older children. the staff we spoke to were nice.
Oh wow...my daughter and i took the 3 kids/grandkids there today and what a major disappointment. So glad there was no entry fee. All that awaited us was a cafe, a little playground, and 2 million flies. The petting zoo isnt worth writing about either. The toilet was smelly and filled with mozzies. My 3 yr old granddaughter was badly bitten. Will never return.
My son had his Birthday Party at King Country over the weekend as they now have some great costing Party packages, It was pouring rain and I thought it would be a disaster but once we were there it was undercover which is great, the kids had a great time playing on the playground and feeding the animals. The service was wonderful and the people were very friendly and helpful, the food was good and my Son had a great Party. Thank you King Country :
