Quiet course a stones throw out of Melbourne. Birds have made a mess of a few greens and certain dry sections are like playing off concrete but overall an enjoyable course, especially for the shorter hitter.
Nice people nice little course. Love the way they cherish and protect the water fowl and the black swans.
Nice golf course, staff were faultless in attitude and demeanour. Our social club had a great day with a BBQ and refreshments, cheap beer and facilities are fantastic. More social clubs need to support clubs like Kilmore Cannot wait until the next time our social club plays there
Course is in good condition seeing it's run by volunteers. It's definitely better condition than it was 3 years ago. Par 3 comp there was awesome fun and run really well. The rating is so low because of all the people whinging about the native wildlife being killed. There's no shortage of cockies or galahs in Australia so I don't really see it as an issue. If they let the birds rip all the greens up, we wouldn't be able to play at all.
Good venue, a tad expensive, not a bad place to host a birthday or similar event. The club functions as a good base for the golf course, and they maintain the course quite well for a country town. Would recommend paying them a visit for both the functions and the golf as well.
Beautiful golf course. But love it if they redo the entire club house and had a restaurant or Cafe there..they would make a packet.$$$.
Nice little course with friendly and helpful staff. Each 9 is so different and challenging in seperate ways. Myself and a mate went around in 3 hours which you can't do at many other courses in the region. Their $15 Friday night parmas are great also
They currently have a program of killing native wildlife. Please find a better golf course who respect our native wildlife. Please checkout Macedon Rangers Wildlife Network post of Facebook for more details. Peter Clappison review is wrong they are not moving the birds they are killing them. Peter if you are going to make a post get your facts straight.
Don't waste your money or time travelling here, played on Sunday 11/2/18 the guy behind the jump at the Pro Shop was less than welcoming gave the impression that it was all too much a drain on him, the Pro Shop devoid of anything relating to golf, the course was in the worst condition I've ever seen it in, fairways a disgrace, Greens even worse, holes, dead grass, they should have paid us the $27 it cost us to play, after the round 4 pies & 2 sausage rolls to feed a group of 11 no beer in the fridge and the club rooms not open, we won't be returning here again which is a shame it WAS a very nice course.
Have played on this course but will no longer do so after hearing of their decision to unnecessarily shoot the wildlife. Rather play golf on another course where the sport is golf & the wildlife enhances the environment.
