Had the guys from Killara Plumbing fix a blocked drain.Pre quoted the job.........job done efficiently and cleaned up straight away.... also said that they can inspect in 7 months time a..i.highly recommend them.....David

Scheduled appointment to replace a kitchen spray mixer tap. Advised call out fee $140.... 10 am Plumber arrived 10am 10:05. Reviewed Job 10:10. Wrote quote for job $412 + gst Thought must be a problem quote expensive but was already charged $140 for fallout 10:14. Commenced work, Installed tested for 10-15mins, videoed test 10:47. Work Completed. Requested payment for FULL amount 10:48. Spoke with owner of KILLARA Plumbing. HE stood by the amount and refused to adjust the Cost to be in line with “Rawlinsons Industry Standard” that is $100 to $150 an hour. Plumber took the old tap.....which was perfectly okay just needed a higher tap to fit larger items. Decide for yourself!

An earlier reviewer used the term "rip off" and I agree. They wanted to charge me for 6.5 hours work, when ultimately it took under 1.5hrs to complete the full job. This company expects you to accept a highly inflated quote before they will commence a job - all under the guise of "if anything bad happens....you will not have to pay any more". Don't fall for this nonsense. Get a good local plumber who will charge you fairly for actual time worked. Not a company that tries to scam you for time that they don't work.
