Find it frustrating that stock is strewn across the floors. Makes it nearly impossible to navigate through the store with a stroller and I have a compact one, too. The two staff members also didn’t greet me or talk to me at all and I was there for a good 15 mins but were gossiping about someone else, which made me feel quite awkward as a customer. The store has great products, but I’ve had better experiences at the Top Ryde and Chatswood location.
Huge variety of toys for age group 1 to 15. Very friendly staff, toys are overpriced compared to K-MART, Target and Big W.
I was in there with my 2 girls. We didnt buy anything, however I would like to mention Eliza. She was very friendly, welcoming smile and actually greeted upon entering the store. Usually I have noticed staff being very unprofessional and plain rude if you don't buy anything, but I had a nice chat with Eliza and she was just very happy to help and just have a chat. I will definitely be back to buy stuff from her store.
Had the best customer service from a girl and I can't remember her name but I will update my review when I find out. She was so helpful and went out of her way to help me out of her work hours to get more information regarding a sylvanian families toy. She was so lovely and kind and even though the prices here are more expensive than big W or toys r us I will return to purchase more because she was so sweet!
Staff were friendly and offered to assist, however the toys are ridiculously overpriced. You will find the exact same products at Big W, Kmart, Target or online for a fraction of the cost. Very cluttered and lots of walking space filled with additional products, so hard to move a pram around the store.
Worst customer service in decades! Went there with the family for our annual Christmas shopping. Sadly, the new? young Asian female working there is the rudest most unprofessional retail sales worker I have encountered in decades. A Unprofessional and plain rude Wanted to use a Westfield Gift card, she looks at me with surprise and says with a very unfriendly tone: "This is not Westfield". I tried to remind her that what the mall is called but could not convince her at all. She actually scoffed at my wife three times ! while we wanted to use the gift card and later wanted to pay by credit card and continued in a very unfriendly and rude manner. Best moment: She left her counter twice ! in the middle of the transaction and let us standing there without a single word or idea what was going on ? - she literally just walked off. B Unfriendly Straight from the beginning no smile, no greeting and a really rude attitude during the time we talked to her. She made us feel bad for buying items at "her" store, scoffing and almost mocking us while rolling her eyes made us feel bad and not welcomed In times of declining offline sales, a post lock down and high unemployment, Kidstuff should really consider hiring someone who is professional, friendly and outgoing - in the end this is a TOY STORE! Needless to say we left at the end without buying the items and won´t return ever again. Hopefully the next customer will not have to deal with such a rude attitude.
Extremely disrespectful store attendant. Bought my son 2 animals and he had picked up another and I had given it straight back to the store attendant. She still stopped my 3 year old son to check if he had taken more. Even after I had taken the extra toy he had and given it right back in her hand at the counter. Disgusting to make a TODDLER feel like a criminal. And insulting to the mother who had done the right thing. WILL never shop at this over priced store, which you can get the exact same toy somewhere else, again. The only reason someone would come in and buy from you is for customer service and experience in-store. Please train your staff to be respectful and to understand ‘you are WORKING IN A TOY STORE’. So you need to know how to deal with children. Pathetic.
Absolutely terrific experience. Young guy “Davey” name on receipt loves toys and was so passionate about helping me find two gift for two seperate boys birthdays. I was only going in to have look too! He is an asset to this shop and I walked out with a much lighter purse.
I loved it when I went there there were nice staff. And nice toys.
Different collection of items for kids. Good for a change. Free membership allows to get free wrapping whole year around. Helpful staff.
