What a lovely spot. The blow hole is here too. You can see all up and down the coast from here. There are toilets, really good visitor centre with souvenirs and a cafe. I was here in off peak so wasn’t busy but imagine it would be in the holiday season.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Beautiful location for a picnic. It’s got something for everyone from kids to families to youngsters to couples. Loved the walk to the waters edge through the rocks closed toe shoes with good grip highly recommended. The blowhole was mesmerising. The area has ample parking and restaurants. Can easily spend a day walking around the area. Best done on a sunny day.

Great place to visit. The main attraction besides the lighthouse is the blow hole. It wasn't very active today, but it was a nice day for a walkabout. Kiama is a small, friendly town with lots of eateries and coffee shops. Nice place for a day trip.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
This place is a common tourist attraction in south coast due to its historical background. The local council in Kiama is doing a great job to maintain the beauty and cleanliness of the environment in this area. I visited this place many times bringing relatives and friends from overseas. The blowhole is a unique type of natural phenomenon that only the gravitical science can explain. Its beautiful to watch during high tide. If you are new to Sydney, don’t miss to visit Kiama lighthouse.
The lighthouse itself is underwhelming. It's a bit short - it is well maintained but size matters when it comes to lighthouses. You come to this spot to see the ocean views and the blowhole, which is pretty cool, but best when there are waves, so it's probably best to come on a windy day if you want to see the spectacle of the blowhole. You can picnic here also or dine at the Diggies restaurant, which we really liked too.
Nice touristy place and beautiful blue water. We wanted to see the blow hole in full action but there were hardly any waves. I presume it would be best to check the swells and waves if you'd like to see the blow holes full impact. On hot days best to carry water and a hat. The car parking can get full.
I actually don't want to rate this place at all because I don't want anymore people there, but it's such a really nice place. Great cafes, shops, places to walk, beaches etc even on a rainy day. I would move here and be very content.
Great little spot for a staycation, lots to see and do like the blow hole, the magnificent lighthouse, street cafes, clubs pub, restaurants and little nik knack shops. Feeling adventurous then the Bombo Headland is a nice walk, short drive, with the Cathedral Rocks also nearby. We stayed at the Kiama Shores Motel, very comfy affordable and modern. Enjoy your visit. And don't forget to try the Gelato at the Pines Pantry.
Kiama is such a beautiful tranquil place to visit. As an early 80's baby I was born in Kiama hospital so I have a special bond with this gorgeous coastal town. From the iconic terrace shops, to the Pink post office, Kiama lighthouse and the Kiama blowhole... it's the ultimate coastal town to visit. While you are in Kiama ensure that you visit The Kiama Lolly and Gift shop plus the Visitors centre. If it's good food you are after the Hungry Monkey never disappoints!
