Khin Khao Thai Restaurant

Food is average. Crispy pork with a few pieces of pork. Honey chicken choke full of flour. Tom yam fried rice is ok but on the salty side. I love Thai food and glad I have tasted real authentic for comparison. This restaurant don't measure up. Try only if you are extremely hungry.

Nice, proper Thai restaurant in Cairns CBD. Owner is Thai and the menu is a mix of Thai and Asian fusion cuisine. Something for everyone here. Prices are reasonable and they offer BYO $3.00 corkage per person. Recommend dining outside - inside is quite noisy. Highly recommended

I ordered the lunch special crispy pork and was disappointed in the size and the amount of pork in the portion. Expected more for $12

I've been here with my friends so many times. The foods here are always so nice especially the Khuakling. If you love spicy dish, this one is perfect

Food was good on lunch deal. But when they busy cannot expect normal serve.

The food here was very good. Spring rolls, Penang curry, and chicken pad Thai are all good options. Even if you ask for something mild/not spicy it still is a bit hot. Service was quick and pretty good. The restaurant has a cool outdoor seating area in front that makes you feel like you’re in a Thai garden. The place was clean, and overall I had a good meal here.

This restaurant really ticked all the boxes for me us. We 2 arrived a few minutes late, but that was no problem for Khin Khan. Our waitress explained the menus and assisted us all through the ordering process. So gracious, so charming. . . So much Thai style. The smiles are genuine and they certainly go out of their way, to please. I definitely will go back again, maybe in a couple of weeks time!

Great place that's well decorated. Staff are super nice and welcoming. Food is made to individual requests and very nicely made. Meals were made just right to taste for kids. Good portion meals for price paid.

I visited the restaurant a couple of times and tried everytime something else from the menu and I can say that it's by far the best thai food I have eaten. The service is very good and professional and fulfills all special wishes. Top food! This restaurant is playing definitely in the top league. Additionally, the owner is very friendly and and carrying. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
